So my review is based on the maternity section of the hospital. The nurses are phenomenal and the on call doctors are remarkable. The reason for a one star ding is because its an older hospital and they are working on bringing stuff up to date. Staff in the maternity section are super nice and are really personable. I prefer the small hospital with better service than the other way around where you are a patient and number in queue. Our first born was not born in FL but a large hospital, so personal attention can't be provided. The only area I wish to see improvement is to have a nursery so new parents can get a little sleep since when you get home there is no sleep. The area is a little shaddy I agree, but the staff is awesome. (2 weeks ago)

I have to say I was totally impressed with my care tonight. I was in out of the lobby, into triage and in an exam room in less than 20 minutes! My labs and diagnostic test were done quickly, the EMTs were fast and thorough. My P.A. (physician assistant) was knowledgeable and thorough. He answered all of my concerns and gave me detailed explanation for my discharge. Even the young lady from registration was quick and thorough. What a great improvement!! (a month ago)

What a tough review to write. First the medical care which is the most important was excellent. The medical team are top notch. Then there's the logistics, and that is where it gets narley. First there are too many different "departments" - from the doctor to billing; the process is fragmented. IMHO, there should be a "road map" from the initial referral to the cardiologist through the billing and after care. The doctor's office is calling to confirm the aftercare appointment before the procedure was done? In any event, great doctors and medical team, then need to work on logistics understanding older people with heart problems should be stressed out trying to figure out which end is up! (2 weeks ago)

Everyone is kind, gentle and polite. Wonderful staff, day and night. Love it, thank you for all you've done with my step dad Irvin Alvarado. (3 weeks ago)

I had surgery yesterday and of course I wanted to see the reviews of the hospital since I've never been. I was shocked to see such poor reviews. My experience was just amazing. The ACC unit was just amazing. Everyone from the front desk to the prep to the operating room to the recovery room were just amazing. They took their time, explained everything to me, answered all of my questions, and they made me feel so confident. I would give them all 100 stars if I could. Thank you all so much. Sissy, an RN there was just awesome. She and I talked a lot before I went to surgery and it made me feel at ease. I didn't come across 1 person who I didn't have a wonderful experience with and I dealt with a lot of people from 7 am to 1 pm. Thank you all so much for taking such good care of this nervous wreck of a patient! (4 months ago)
