I had to go tonight due to arm pain. Let me tell you. This was the BEST experience i ever had at a hospital. The nurses and doctors were amazing. Very courteous, respectful and helpful. I was in and out with x rays within an hour during a busy time of night. They were very thorough in explaining what thry were going to do, as well as after care and follow up visits. Highly highly recommend. If i didnt live here, id drive from anywhere just to get care here. (2 months ago)

We had to visit Winter Haven hospital yesterday for the first time due to stomach pain. What a difference compared to hospitals in South Florida, they were super nice, professional, quick and knowledgeable. They checked us in quick, did numerous tests in rapid order and all staff were really pleasant. In particular nurse Katrina, doctor DeLeon and Gloria in admitting were outstanding. (2 months ago)

Winter Haven Hospital is slow. There could be nobody ahead of you and it takes hours to get everything done. Even if it is something simple. It's always super cold and some of the nurses have no bed side manners (a month ago)

My granddaughter (7) had an appendectomy on Sunday and the service was great. She was admitted in the early afternoon and was allowed home that evening. She was prescribed some pain meds which work mostly except when she moves or coughs which is a problem as she has a cough. The next day I had been giving her Robitussin but it's not very effective. I called the local doctor and was told unless I brought her in he couldn't help (she's in pain when moving so I didn't want to do that) so I called the hospital and was put on the musical switch around multiple transfers later I was given another number. when I called that number I had to leave a message and 4 hours later was told the doctor was not available and would be called tomorrow. Great start, terrible follow through. (2 months ago)

They just living on a not timely mannered and take your time forever or "take my time as much as they want" (type of thing ) The registration, takes forever! we just went for an x-ray and it take about a good 1 hour and half for them to handle us, seems like they don't know what the hell is in thier system and what and how to worked Thier computers.... it is ridiculous how they do service here... if you have a better options this hospital is not recommended at all! because of a human error which they currently experiencing ๐Ÿ™„ with thier PC's the patients are back logged... and when they ask why they taking them slowly the audacity of rudeness from the Patient access Center People shift on (July 9, 2018 Monday) it's just very bad.
