Pediatrician in ER was A+. She sewed up my son's split lip. We were admitted within 15 min of arriving. Better option in the area than the scary Melrose-Wakefield alternative... (a week ago)

Where do I even start. My mom was having horrid stomach pains and we got to the ER at 6:30pm. We were sent to sit in the hallway to wait to be moved to a triage room. 2 1/2 hours later we were finally moved to a room. However, we seemed to be invisible to every nurse and doctor. We got to the triage room at 9pm and didn’t see a single nurse or doctor for another two hours. I went out in the hall to see what was going on and taking so long and I see nurses standing around talking, and finally, after hours, the doctor comes in and spends 5 minutes with my mom. He orders a few tests which takes literally hours to get done. Finally, at 3am, we get the results back and it turned out that she needed surgery which they did at 9am, so obviously her case was extremely emergent and here they had us sitting in triage for 9 hours. Great hospital, huh? My point is that if you ever need to go to the ER, do NOT go to Winchester Hosptial. Terrible service. We got there at 6:30 pm and didn’t leave until 3:30am. Absolutely absurd. No ER visit should be 9 hours, and it wasn’t even that busy. (2 weeks ago)

they have great staff but their billing department is horrible. They sent me a statement after 1 year of lab work which was never sent to my insurance. (4 weeks ago)

This is the best hospital I have been to. I had my little boy there, the maternity team is the best mostly one of their nurse Kelly on delivery unit, she is awesome, amazing and very professional. She has a heart of gold and so much patience, thank you so much Kelly. When I also went to their ER, it only took 45 minutes for my baby to be seen, examined and transferred to children s hospital. I love this hospital and I would very much recommend it, can't wait to have my next baby because that is where am going . Please keep it up. (9 months ago)

I’ve had great care there but Winchester’s new billing agency is a nightmare—sending me bills for things written off by my insurance and for things never billed to my insurance to begin with. They are out of state and impossible to work with. Getting them to resolve their errors has been an uphill battle. If you have issues with them, know that you can file a complaint with the Attorney General’s office. (3 months ago)
