Location and Directions

Two days ago I went to this hospital with my husband. My husband had to have same day surgery. The service was very professional. We were taken in quickly and the nurses were very nice. I would especially like to thank a polish nurse, Marianna, for her help and great care. I was surprised to see these reviews because everything went extremely smooth and we didn't have to worry about anything. The nurse still calls me to remind me that I left something at the hospital and to check in on my husband. The personnel and doctors were attentive and caring. I was informed about details of the surgery by phone while waiting in the family room and offered coffee. 😊😊😊😊 (a week ago)

2 of our 3 children were born here. Our doctor was not a staff physician, but the nursing staff was great both times. The facility wasn't exactly perfect, (had a leaky faucet in our recovery room, for instance) but overall it was a good experience. The free parking is also nice. Don't expect much in terms of walkable amenities. The cafeteria is kinda lousy, which makes walking to get food an appealing idea for a visitor, but not a great idea. Be aware before you head east, about the safety of the area. Austin Blvd is the dividing line between Chicago and Oak Park, so the police presence and effectiveness drops off sharply from one side of this road, to the next. (3 weeks ago)

The staff of nurses and techs are fabulous. They care about their patients. Day surgery rocks and the Radiography dept are on point. I have had multiple encounters with the doctors and their some mds are stars like Dr. Ann and her husband Dr. Speismann are terrific. There are some doctors who do try to force their believes upon you and your care but it is up to the patient to decide. Con: Never visit as a walk-in to the ER allow the ambulance to bring you unless you are near death or are severely ill bc the ER wait is ridiculous. 2. There are some doctors who are not empathetic and empathy is important in this role. 3. I would not suggest this facility to visit a specialist nope stick to the larger hospitals 4. Not a trauma hospital (a week ago)

I went in for same day surgery yesterday and I must say the service I received from the time I walked through the door at 5:30am was GREAT no more than Great, IMMACULATE!!!!! First point on contact the security guard at the ER entrance greeted me asked me my name along with providing me his. (Sorry I forgot) made a call and gave me directions in such a pleasant manner. The few employees I encountered in the hall on my walk to the C elevators spoke with a smile. After making it up to same day surgery counter I was immediately greeted with smile and was provided an explanation on what to expect. It was a short wait but everyone that walked passed greeted the awaiting patients with a slight conversation and smile. I was scared because I went there alone but they made me feel not a care in the world I knew I was in good hands. From the two nurses Carolyn being one, the transporter (Joe I believe), the additional three nurses I meet, the annasteiologiest (a male) and my oh so very talented doctor Dr.Morgan Madison :) I was very pleased with the immaculant service I received. I’ve always been a fan of PCC and West Suburban I’ve been a patient at both for about the last 12yrs, had two successful cesareans and numerous ER visits. But today I must say the staff out did themselves today! Thanks they made a scary situation into a phenomenal one! (a month ago)

This is the most ridiculous hospital ever, they don't care what your situation is they still have you waiting hours, I mean a lot of hours before they see you. I don't understand why they been around so long. We need better care in the Austin community. (2 months ago)
