My wife and I had a great experience here. We were in Carmel on Sunday, June 18, 2017, on fathers day when my wife's water broke. Our son wasn't due for 4 more weeks and he was feet first. We knew that she'd need an emergency C-section. We called our Dr and they sent us to Watsonville hospital. We got there around 3 in the afternoon and our first baby boy was born by emergency c-section just after 6. The entire labor and delivery staff was fantastic. One nurse even stayed 2 hours past her shift to stay with us through delivery. We were scared and nervous when we arrived but they did their best to make us comfortable and put us at ease. During our stay the nurses went above and beyond our expectations to take care of us. It made our scary situation easier to deal with. We thank you so much for a great experience. (a month ago)

I was there for an appointment in the radiology department. We arrived 1 hour before the appointment only to be delayed 30 min from the scheduled appointment, that is unacceptable. At the same time I saw multiple people arrive 10 min before their scheduled appointment and enter before it. Isn’t the purpose of an appointment to avoid tedious delays, and return to your other tasks. (a month ago)

My dad had a stroke, the ER dept. was great but one of the nurses was racist and gave my dad water from the bathroom sink when he asked for water. When we asked for discharge instructions she said "I already told your parents, do they not understand any English?" There was also an ultrasound tech by the name of Gabriela who was racist and did not want to give my dad an ultrasound. Not happy with them two. (a month ago)

Wife went for pains most maternity nurse staff friendly but one Gloria was rude took long time to get me and notify me I can see wife then once in the room she was rude and kept talking to me in Spanish when clearly she saw.my wife and I spoke English. She said move and hold the door instead of politely asking can i please hold door and move ad is ethan she would repeat herself on spanish 2 to 3 time n I stated I speak English but she continued. She never told wife any results then another nurse saw how rude she.was and annoyed I was took over she was great her name was alma. She explained what was going on and even made transport arraignment to go to Dominican Hospital due to my wife's condition and prematurity of baby. I hate the way some staff acts. If u don't like your job why work with people. I would rate better but that nurse just was sooooo horrible I refuse to go THERE or let my wife deliver there. Sorry to those who were nice and actually did their jobs RIGHT (2 months ago)

This hospital is the worst hospital ever. πŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ˜·I advise every NOT go there.....its a complete rip off. My niece went it last night an after about 4-5 hours the doctor still hadded stop by to take a look at her. This time we were lucky it wasn't something serious but maybe next time we will not be or anyone else won't be so lucky. Im writing this so maybe the director see this an make some changes to this, beacuse this is not the first time its happens. No point of having the hospital if they don't help when you need it. But the they never forget to charge you an arm an leg for nothing. (2 months ago)
