I have been here twice. The first time was for stomach pain and they absolutely couldn’t tell me anything I was here over six hours. Today I came because a chemical burn on my eyes. I have been here for two hours and I am still waiting. This place is painfully slow I mean I know how hospitals are but this place is crazy crazy slow. It took the doctor a hour and a half to get back to see me after I was taken back because he had “computer problems “. He wouldn’t even tell me what degree my burns are just that they are chemical burns. I have now been waiting thirty minutes on discharge papers. Next time I’ll go to Summerfield ER. Way shorter wait times (in the last week)

(E.R.) I had a procedure done in the OR at 11 AM everyone there was great. I started bleeding profusely I could not get in touch with my Dr. everything I read on my discharge papers instructed me to go to the emergency room immediately. I checked in explained the procedure I had done in there O.R. and the fact I was passing blood clots and heavy bleeding when I urinated. I was instructed to sit and they would be with me shortly. 3 hours later the Nurse said the Dr. would be with me next although they did not do urology 1 hr later after not being seen I left as the bleeding had slowed a little. The man with a broken shoulder was there 6 hrs. the one with a foot issue 7 hrs. The drive to Ocala 45 Min (3 weeks ago)

Things have definitely improved since my first visit years ago. The 4 the floor staff during my stay were very helpful and pleasant. Although they at time seemed understaffed, no fault of my caretakers. A shout out to nurse Stephanie, (newly engaged, frozen braid!), Who pushed for more answers for my condition. Thank you to all, including ED staff and volunteers. Mawitters (a week ago)

If I could of giving a minus zero I would have. Took my husband in for a broken foot he fell off a ladder. Keep in mind that he is in his eighties. Sat in emergency for close to 7 hours. I had to leave to take care of our little dog I came back around 10:30pm he was in the emergency bed E-4 to be exact. The had wrapped his foot said there was a broken heel. They admit him .... OK 2 days later no food no doctor no nothing... Our daughter calls administration late that day he finally gets food... Now it's the 3rd day I CHANGE HIS ROBE CLEAN HIS URINAL filled to the top. Still no orthepedic Dr.. no nobody. I checked him out out on the 3rd day. He had no bath or sponge bath... I DID IT BEFORE WE LEFT!!! So he felt better the only good thing that happened was a nurse I believed named Pamela and a beautiful hospital Dr. Sutherland. Other than that... I suggest if you have a medical need or problem don't go to the villiages regional hospital at the villages Fl. I don't usually right reviews just hoping that I help and elderly person that is in need not to go there (2 months ago)

My Mom was admitted through the ER last Tuesday and although the admitting process was unreasonably slow. Once she was given a room on the 3rd floor she was very well taken care of by the entire staff. It is my opinion that this area is too populated and needs a additional hospital in order to provide the best care. (3 weeks ago)
