Location and Directions

Worst place to go in town!!!! Been here since 11:30pm and it is now 2:10am. My fiance and I came in for her feeling like she has the flu. You would think that if she is suspected of having the flu they would quarantine her or get her back to a room ASAP. Nope. All they have done for my fiance is x-rays. And she still has to get blood work done. People that came in an hour and half after us have already been put back in a room and are probably leaving by now. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO VIA CHRISTI ST. FRANCIS FOR ANYTHING! THE PLACE IS A JOKE! (a month ago)

So, my mom had surgery and the doctor spoke with us. She went to recovery. Then it was like she dis-a-f@#k-ing-peared. No one was oferred to go see her. She wasn't moved, I asked after her several times and was only told vaguely that they would be moving her soon to her room. Still nothing and it has been 3 hrs. I am listed as my moms contact so it should be ok to talk to me. This is asinine. (2 weeks ago)

Never had a problem. Staff has always been pleasant, friendly and informative. Care has been the best, consistently. I have been through the ER at the worst time possible for those people, and in the middle of the night, during shift change, they always provide the care and concern I expect. I give them the respect they deserve. They give it back. (3 months ago)

I got to the ER about 3am with pain even the nurses could see I was in lots of pain that they got me a room right away. The ER doctor was rude as hell he acted like he didn't want to help me. He had the nerve to ask me if I was in so much pain why didn't I contact my family Dr? All he had them do was blood work and CT scan came back and told me that nothing was wrong with me and if I wanted more test done that I need to contact my family Dr. I kept saying something is wrong with me to please don't let me go home like this! So after leaving the hospital there I went to to Wesley hospital ER and let me tell you they treated me alot better than Via Christi St. Francis did. (a month ago)

Called an ambulance in January of 2018 for chest pains, in excruciating pain and hard to breathe, arrived at the emergency room and transferred to a wheelchair and placed in the lobby for close to 2 hours before being placed in a room without a bed. Waited for another 30 minutes then a college student saw me and said that it was just high blood pressure and prescribed me with ibuprofen and told me to go home. So I was still in pain and had to walk 7 blocks home in 24°F weather. Also I don't have health insurance. They, just like every other hospital in Wichita treat you horrible compared to those who have health insurance. I received a bill in the mail 3 months later for close to $800 for the ambulance. It's ridiculous to charge $800 to drive 7 blocks. I will not be paying it. (a month ago)
