My Doctor (Cliff Vestal) was great. But he needs to seriously consider hiring an undercover evaluation consultant to review his medical and customer care team. He prescribed a medication that required two blood test in order for my insurance to authorize payment. Also, because the medication was a controlled substance. My pharmacy required a phone call from their office for verification of the prescription. For the past two weeks I’ve been promised multiple times, that these two things would be taken care of. Which they were not. I was also promised by a lady named LaVonne that I would receive notification from their office when it done. I have not received not one response out of the 7 times that I have called inquiring about the status of the prescription. This is the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. I truly thought that I was dealing with a “professional” medical organization. But I suppose not. I only wish that I had read these reviews, prior to me wasting my time and energy, dealing with people, that seem to not have any respect their patients time or patronage. (3 weeks ago)

I just want to thank the nurses in the surgical unit for setting the standard in care, since it was my first surgery. From the minute I came to, I had a dedicated nurse by my side. That’s really an amazing job. Whether she had other patients or not every tine I needed something she was there. From check in to exit from the hospital, every nurse and tech staff member I dealt with was professional and caring. I came back a week later and the nurse at the counter gave me an extra weeks worth of essential supplies, that would I have been properly informed by my doctor, I would have already purchased. I can’t say enough about the nurses or support staff from USMD Surgery, their follow up, caring , and level of expertise is top notch! (3 months ago)

I love this hospital. Staff is so friendly and quick, I’ve never had any problems. My mom has had multiple surgeries here and was always treated amazing and taken great care of. I saw on of the obgyn’s on the second floor through my whole pregnancy and she was great! The staff in the office is so friendly and polite, best experience! (2 months ago)

Dr. Gibbons in the emergency room is one of the worst doctors I have ever seen. His focus is on bedside manner instead of the medicinal aspect of being in the ER. For my friend who has many different things going on, he really only focused on one minute aspect of her illnesses. No labs performed or blood work, which most doctors probably would have performed for someone with probable anemia. He only did a visual exam. He really didn’t care to examine her from different perspectives. The emergency room staff are very chatty. Dr. Gibbons said he would write my friend a few prescriptions, which took him about an hour to do. He was chatting with the nurses instead of taking care of her. Personally, my doctor takes seconds to write prescriptions. No explanation of the long wait was given. Completely moronic and careless staff. Avoid at all costs. (3 months ago)

The ER doctor prescribed me medication for an e coli/salmonella infection I didn't have, and it almost put me in the hospital for a long time. I got all the side effects of the medication he never told me about, even though I asked if there were side effects. On top of being in severe pain and waiting in the ER almost 2 hours, I had to repeat my information to each person I encountered several times because they don't read the chart or don't communicate to each other. I also have a severe medical allergy and had to remind those same folks of my allergy, without receiving a tag or band stating I had an allergy. I hope to get a survey in the mail! I also have a short road of recovery with different medication to get my body back in shape from being prescribed medication for an illness I didn't have. This is a prime example of doctors overprescribing antibiotics and almost putting me in the hospital because of it. Thanks for making me even more of a skeptic that you all know what you are doing!!!
