TERRIBLE!! NO PAIN KILLERS OR ANTIBIOTICS FOR CUT OFF FINGER TIPS My son caught the tips of his fingers in machinery. Happily, the bone and fingernails were fine, but he lost the pads of his two fingers. Dr. Ranschke simply glued them closed and sent us home without pain killers or antibiotics. After three nights of waking up, I called to request even a few pain killers and was refused. Infection set in, so we had to deal with all that. All those nerve endings in the finger tips. OUCH! Terrible service! Doctor cancelled the appointment after we reached at hospital and were forced to take emergency services as there were no doctors available even during the day time. And even after conforming from the front desk about the emergency services expenses, there was no clear communication made and the whole bill was made in such a way that nothing got covered by my insurance because the major chunk of bill was of emergency service which was not at all required in my case and that is why was not covered by my insurance. Incompetent organization. I was seen in the ER and diagnosed with a ruptured cyst and sent home. 2 days later during a follow up with OB/GYN they told me I needed emergency surgery for infected fluid in my abdomen. Surgery was performed hours later and post-OP I learned that my surgeon had already left (before even speaking with me) and there was no fluid in my abdomen. During my post-OP visit I had a 103 fever and was admitted to the ER for fluids and antibiotics. 3 days later I got a call that I had a severe kidney infection, never had a ruptured cyst. 1 unnecessary surgery later, both doctors that I was treated by have left the state. Go to Aspirus. (4 months ago)

Didn't send copies of MRI images to my husband's doctor downstate. Instead sent us home with a disc, not telling us it was that copy that we needed to take to his doctor. We got downstate and realized that we didn't have any images from the MRI. I hate that this is the only option. Secondly, staff were very rude to a close friend dealing with mental health issues a few years ago. Things may have changed over but I wouldn't trust it. (6 months ago)
