Had a serious emergency and they got us right in, all the staff in the ER were very helpful and pleasant, the intake staff was a little bit harsh. Discharge was fast and easy. The ER has parking but an attendant moves the cars for you, free parking while in ER if you are transfered to a hospital floor than you have to move your car and pay $10 a day . All in all was a good experience. (2 weeks ago)

Wow!! This Hospital is amazing! Dr.Reynar is an amazing doctor very attentive and professional. Also Dr. Green was a ray of sunshine the nurses are very attentive starting with Katie , Eunica , Tia and many more. I just can’t remember their name the day shift and night shift crew were so professional and friendly. They always answer every question accordingly. The room was cleaned and sanitized daily. Thank you so much!! (2 weeks ago)

If I could give no stars I would 100%. I was told over and over that the breast center at UNC takes my insurance. I drove 2 hours to this place because I heard great things about it, only to find out that they don't take my insurance and I would have to pay out of pocket for everything. That's fine, whatever, I wasted my time driving there and couldn't be seen because I can't afford thousands of dollars out of pocket and upfront. But for some reason, I got a bill in the mail for almost $200 FOR AN ULTRASOUND I NEVER RECEIVED. I called to dispute this and they will not have it. So I wasted my time going there because an individual told me that they take my insurance, money from taking off from work, AND I got a bill on top of all this with no resolution. HORRIBLE PLACE. Well organized and on time the day we were there. This is a teaching hospital associated with UNC Chapel Hill. They make great efforts to be friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food choices for visitors and staff is fully acceptable. The parking is ok and you can take covered walkway from the deck to the hospitals. (a month ago)

My care was wonderful. My issue is with coding and billing just like the lady who reviewed beneath me. I had an emergency surgery and coding thinks this is classified under maternity care because the emergency was with my fallopian tubes. No baby, no fetus, no maternity. It was a cyst. Insurance won't cover because I don't have maternity insurance. They've reviewed it and coding still thinks it's maternity. I don't know what to do anymore. They won't let me speak to anyone over at coding. I've got a pretty $16000 bill to pay all by myself. (4 months ago)
