My 87 year old dad has been in the hospital for seven days and we could not be more pleased with the level of service and professionalism. The surgery went well and the after care has been phenomenal. The nurses are friendly, thorough, responsive and caring. We have since heard from other doctors that if they end up as a patient in any Tucson area hospital, they would demand Banner. (a month ago)

My son has been in and out of Banner Tucson for the past two years. He has multiple very serious issues culminating in a two organ transplant. He has had excellent care. The 5E transplant unit staff are superb. His journey continues. Could Banner improve? For sure. Housekeeping is less than excellent. Finance makes mistakes but corrects them. But... the medical staff is excellent and very attentive. That is what matters. (3 weeks ago)

Waited 10 hours before the doctor was able to determined what was going on.The person i took had labs, and all looked great, and it only takes about an hour for results. Now, 10 hours? Really? That's insane! Thank goodness it was not a life-threatening situation! Shouldn't be called emergency room. Because its NOT emergency care. Maybe care physicians? Life-threatening situations should honestly go elsewhere. (2 months ago)

This place is a joke. Walked in at 830, only to be fast tracked 2 hours later (fast tracked is physician assistant). The triage nurse decided my condition was not that severe. Everyone else went before me because they thought they were more important. I'm a white male who is clearly being discriminated against because of my gender and skin color. I refused to see the physician assistant because I pay 16k in Federal taxes and another 6500 in state taxes. Not to mention I pay 175 month for healthcare. I think my money and service to the country deserve a doctor. The terrible situation at hospitals is because of the federal law mandating them to take anyone, as the government picks up the bill. The situation and Banner are unacceptable. I will not go back here if my life depended on it. (a month ago)

I was there recently. They did nothing for me, but charge me. The room I was in was dirty, the trash can was over flowing with trash. They had a me sitting in a chair was so uncomfortable it didn't help my stomach pain , which was my chief complaint. There was an patient sitting there for over 10 hours. For that I should have gone across the border. Now I have to go to another hospital and get charged again. The nurses were just doing their job. Very dissatisfied. Hopefully I don't have to go there again. (2 months ago)
