Been sitting in the E.R. since 7:50p, it's going on 9:30p and haven't seen or heard from an dr. When I question the nurse about it, I'm given a blank stare, like I'm asking a foreign question. I wouldn't recommend coming here in an emergency situation. One star is too many! (3 weeks ago)

The jerk who picked up the phone couldn't care less about people's lives. I called and asked if there was someone I could talk to for medical advice, and she just snapped "I can't give medical advice over the phone". So I said it was a desperate situation and I really needed to know how to help my friend (who was in a severe amount of pain), and she just repeated herself in a meaner tone. Cannot even begin to see why such a horrible, rude person would be employed there. (a month ago)

Never thought I'd get a 3300 dollar bill for a heart exam and a sandwich because I had to be held over night, ridiculous. They weren't properly equipped to remove a mood ring from a child so he/she was screaming for over an hour in intense pain. (3 months ago)

Always did a good job of attending to my father during his many visits here as his health declined. Matter of fact I believe they saved his life more than once and I thank you for that. But I am not happy with this hospital or how he was treated his last few trips here. He was constantly discharged to early and sent home with pneumonia that was not taken care of, wich caused my dad a lot of undue suffering and trips back to the hospital for the same issues. And the final slap in the face was when I had him sent here because He was very sick and confused and not himself. The er did a chest xray and discharged him. Said that was his normal? Well let me tell you what was normal. My dad was sick and confused due to how toxic he was from kidney failure! And all you did was a chest xray. The next day I had him sent to UH Geauga and luckily they know what they are doing and found my dads kidney issue and started treatment and dialasis. Unfortunetly my dad did not make it. Thank you for making his last days miserable with your quick dismisal of his condition. (5 months ago)

Be aware that at Geneva Hospital your insurance copay is in addition to, not instead of, you normal bill. When I took my wife to the emergency room, the doctor spent all of 30 seconds with us then sent us a $250 bill that our insurance (United Health Care) didn't cover. If you have the option, go somewhere else. (11 months ago)
