This review is for the neurology department (particularly: the nurses, technicians, the ones who answer the phone,....). The level of care you will receive here is bad, really really bad. I am a physician myself and I believe it is disgraceful to label that department as a “health care” providing facility. There is a good chance to receive better care in a prison than from the nurses in the neurology department. To sum it up: THEY DO NOT CARE! They don’t want to work. Your worst nightmare is if you need to speak with a nurse over the phone. Good luck!! I am not sure if they are underpaid or something, but it is an unacceptable situation what is going on there. I can’t understand how the management thinks that they can compete with the other very good healthcare providing facilities in the region with that extremely poor level of care. (in the last week)

Very good visit, I was reunited with Dr. Regenstein. He saved my life along with all the Tulane personnel that have cared for me for twenty two years and counting! I thank God daily for his grace, peace and love! May God bless Tulane Hospital and all who work there! (2 weeks ago)

My visit to the Tulane University Medical Center was for a general checkup, and I was glad to meet my new doctor, Elizabeth Bowles, M.D. who examined me and had me go to the lab for blood tests. She called me some days later and explained that my lab tests were within reasonable ranges, and she responded positively when I asked if she would expect me to live till I reached age 88, since I am currently age 87. I look forward to further check ups for the rest of my life at the Tulane Medical Center. (a week ago)

I am not pleased with my experience at Tulane Medical Center. In March I was rushed to Tulane Medical Center for chest pains I was misdiagnosed, I was told that it was panic attacks. I was sent home. One month later the ambulance had to pick me up I told them not to bring me back to Tulane bypass it up and bring me to Ochsner Baptist where I was having a heart attack my arteries what's Clogged, one 100% and the other 98% I was only getting 2% of oxygen to my brain. On top of that I have been having seizures which a Tulane doctor have been treating me for. The Tulane doctors that I was seeing started treating me at his private office decided to stop treating me at his office because he no longer took my insurance. Now I do not have a neurologist. So I am not pleased , the reason why I was having the seizures is because I was not getting enough of oxygen to my brains. (a month ago)

Tulane offers the best care in New Orleans! I would never ever trust my health or the health of my child to any one else. Ever. We use multiple departments and specialties and I have never been disappointed. Tulane Radiology Clinic is so efficient! (2 weeks ago)
