I have read other reviews on here about this hospital. Some of the doctors affiliated with this facility are great - however, their pricing and staff NOT. They billed me over $200 for a shoulder sling - fast forward 6 years and the SAME sling cost me $11. Then, they balanced billed me for out-of-network anesthesiologists.. Unbelievable! Never again. I will go on to say that their shoulder block method through the neck caused me nerve damage..They refuse to see me until said high priced shoulder sling worth little over $11 is paid.. I can tell you that there are good ortho doctors in Austin without all of this hassle. PS.. If you are not from Austin, you should know the Hospital inherited these from the gardening store that went out of business on the corner of 360 and Beecaves. I am with others here.. focus on quality care and less on pink flamingos and fluff. (7 months ago)

Talk about a major screw up by the Admissions office. 90 minutes before our scheduled surgery, we check in and the admissions rep realizes that their office dropped the ball and forgot to get the required authorizations. Sad really; the nursing staff we met with during the orientation were super friendly and helpful, but when you walk in and the Admissions staff are the first people you communicate with the day of surgery and they do this, it completely ruins the whole vibe of the hospital. Really frustrated and won't be going here. I called to try and see if this was where we should take my husband. The front desk said she cannot give me a medical diagnosis which I was in no way asking for. Next I asked if they took our insurance and she wouldn't tell me, she also wouldn't even tell me where there pricing started. Very frustrating and I would have loved a little more compassion and more helpful information especially when I'm so concerned for my husband. (10 months ago)

The best ER experience I have ever had! So friendly and quick to take care of me! (8 months ago)

Yuck! I was told my visit was free then told it was 1300 when I arrived and I had an exorbitant cancellation feee if I didn’t go through with it. Feels like extortion. Someone should tell the Texas AG. You shouldn’t be able to book an appointment without knowing the cost up front. (6 months ago)
