Location and Directions

This hospital is the exact reason why insurance rates are so high. You are better off doing self-pay here as they will overcharge you to max of their ability. Also the Dr's there will take advantage of your insurance and overcharge it too, as evident with them billing for a level 4 exam when It clearly wasn't. Want to know what $2000 gets you here? You get a handshake from the Dr, 3 to 5 minutes of his time, 2 shots and kicked out the door with advice to follow up with your PCP. The best thing about this place was the nurse, as she was a very sweet lady and spent more time administering the shots then the Dr. Did talking to me. Ultimately I ended up having to get a MRI from another facility and IT was cheaper than what the Dr. billed for less than 5 minutes of his time. Stay away from this money pit, especially if you have insurance. The treatment received here is very subpar and ultimately the Dr's are only interested in the well being of their wallets. **Update** Sent my contact information to the employee who commented below...never got a response or a follow-up from them. Just goes to show the integrity of this place. (2 months ago)

I would like to give a 5 Star to Pam, one of the nurses in the labor and delivery room. She attended me and my newborn and was so helpful with everything. Giving birth was a scary experience for me but she made everything better by being so attentive to my needs and answered all my questions she really went above and beyond. All the other nurses were nice and helpful too but Pam was my favorite. Best hospital i have ever been to i would highly recommend it if you are giving birth. (5 months ago)

Edit: Again let me say the hospital was great. However, their anesthesia group (Allen Anaesthesia), is a nightmare. I provided them with my address and info prior to delivering, and again during my recovery in the hospital. Never received a bill. I called and was told it had been paid at the hospital. 6 months later and I get a call from a credit collection agency for $500. Turns out they've been dinging my credit for months due to an unpaid bill. They had used the wrong address, but the damage is done. They also don't have a website, Facebook page, etc. Terrible group. I delivered here and was nervous about my pregnancy. The nurses and staff were fantastic! Everything went better than I could have possibly imagined. Thank you! (a month ago)

Their Anaesthesia group is terrible. Their contact information for me was from over 5 years ago. No wonder I didn't receive any of the bills until collections got ahold of me. They said they got their information from the hospital but the hospital had all of the correct information and I had no billing issues with them. Would be writing this on their anesthesia groups page but they don't have a Facebook, website, or really any other contact info. I'm surprised and disappointed that the hospital affiliates themselves with this company. I had a wonderful experience with Allen Presbyterian but will be going somewhere else to deliver in the future. Too much of a risk to have my credit score hit again! (a month ago)

I wanted to give a shout out to my labor and delivery nurses Beth and Lola. They were amazing and super nice while i was annoying! They were extremely professional and really listened to everything i had to say. I tried to check myself out of the hospital and instead of telling me how dumb i was ( because it was dumb now that i can look back at it with a level head ) they just listened to my complaints ( which had nothing to do with them ) and let me make up my mind on my own. So thank you Beth & Lola for being so awesome! (2 months ago)
