I took my seven-month-old daughter here because she was running a very high fever her pediatrician dismissed it and said it was just teething but I knew better. I was immediately taken in and seen and she was diagnosed with bronchiolitis. I was very happy with the services we received the staff and Dr. were very friendly and explained everything. Doctor Joshua A Egly is a credit to his profession and any ER is fortunate to have him in their employment. He not only did an excellent job suturing up my arm, he was kind and considerate. Kindness, professionalism and skill isn't something you always have the blessing of meeting as far as ER doctors go... or not in my experience. Thank you, Doctor Joshua! Thank you to the sweet lady that confirmed all of my information in the system, Angelica, you're a sweetheart! Emily Arnold (4 months ago)

Came in with a extremely sore throat and high fever. Doctor took one look at my medical records seeing my tonsils had been removed and said it was allergies. I admit I get allergies bad but this I know isn't allergies. I haven't been sneezing or coughing at all. Neither do I have a runny nose. My allergies have not been active at this time for at least a month. And they get extremely bad at times but I have never developed a sore throat and felt drained of energy. I woke up with an itch in my throat yesterday morning and by 4 p.m. yesterday my throat was so sore to the point it hurt to speak and swallow. Later that night i developed a fever so I decided I would go to the hospital the next day. I found it difficult to sleep due to the pain I was in. I went into the ER today. I told them exactly what I said here and the doctor treated me like an ignorant little girl and dismissed me. Samantha Jo Harris did not listen to anything I said and diagnosed it as bad allergies. I haven't been to this hospital in years because of the way I and other family members have been treated in the past. But I didn't feel up to driving all the way to Burleson to get medical care. Next time I will just tough it out and go there. Never returning. UPDATE!! Ended up back in the ER with a fever and severe headache. I was in ao much pain i was crying. They actually listened to me and tested for strep. Came up positive. Better believe I am not paying Harris hospital a d*** dime for treating me like that! I will be calling once I am able and screaming at someone. Things need to change in that ER. I hear so many stories of others being treated poorly. Sending people home with a bulls*** misdiagnosis. Thank goodness it wasnt anything more severe. (4 weeks ago)

Heart attack like symptoms, the were very kind, and thorough. Very competent and understanding staff. (a month ago)

The hospital itself is good. The nursing staff attentive, the Doctors professional. Due to federal funding cuts to rural hospitals expect long waits & service cuts. (3 months ago)
