Everytime someone in my family has went here it's been a good experience. They have always been fast, polite, and knowledgeable. Only reason they aren't getting 5 stars is because we have had some issues with their billing department and how paperwork is filed. Husband broke his ankle last year while working on our house. When he went in and told them this they assumed it was workman's comp related, even though he specifically told them it happened at his own house. Guess they thought he worked in construction or something. Anyway they filed it as workman's comp and we had to go round and round with our insurance and the hospital to get it straightened out. The other thing was they tried to charge my husband $1200 just for the doctor to talk to him, wrap his ankle in an ace bandage, and set up an appointment with an orthopedic doctor. This didn't include the charge for x-ray and just the overall charge for using the hospital itself. I know hospital costs are often ridiculous but this seemed excessive. (5 months ago)

Have always been treated well. Only problem with 1 staff member. Doctos have been good. (2 months ago)

This place is much better than it used to be. They staff is more knowledgeable. They are friendlier and more helpful. The last several times I’ve been there whether for me or others, has been a pleasant experience. If you have had problems with this place in the past try checking them out again. I pray Gods will be done in every sircumstance. Merry Christmas. (7 months ago)

I recently had a CT scan with and without contrast. I would like to recommend, Robert in registration, Tina insurance, Kay in admitting, Brandie in radiology and also Lisa. Everyone was just amazing and kind. The medical center is very clean and has a nice little garden area. My local hospital was asking thousands of dollars for a CT scan and I got it done there for $ 349.00. I have no met my deductibles for the year therefore cost was an issue. If I am ever in need of a procedure I would check with Newport Medical Center first. (8 months ago)

I had an abscessed tooth came in on Feb. 9 and the gave me 900 my of antibiotic. He told me to come back if it moved down in my throat. Well I had to come back on Feb 11th. They looked at my tooth got it hurting 10 times more than it was to tell me it was fine. But on the 9th they said if it moved to my throat that it could be very serious as a blood poisoning condition could occur. The doctor tonight on the 11th said that blood poisoning was not going to occur just go home and see my dentist on Monday. The whole problem is I needed antibiotics. They gave me 900 mgs. By iv on the 9th no prescription. I had an old prescription of antibiotics and they told me to continue treatment. OK 12 antibiotics after you take them they are no more. So how do you continue treatment ? (5 months ago)
