A horrible place to take anyone!!! Careless doctors with zero bedside manner. Rude AF. I have taken 4 different people here, and got same horrible results! If you dont care, then dont be a doctor. 1 star is 4 too many for this nightmare of a place!!! (a week ago)

Thanks to all who helped with a middle of the night emergency this past week. Thanks to the Emergency physicians, and staff, the lab, radiology, respiratory, anesthesia, house keeping, night shift supervisor, EMS, surgery team, and our fantastic OB nurses, and everyone else who pulled together for this emergency. I am very proud of the care Ascension Tawas, St Joseph provided. Dr Oravitz (a month ago)

I came here for the birth of my grand baby & let me tell u ur rude as hell front desk lady carey dodd was rude as hell every single time any of my family came in contact with her. She was very unprofessional, rude, nasty looks, my son sent for me & his father his father was gonna let me just go back but she said nurse said he only sent for his dad but the son said to me he wanted us both to come back. This was the worse ever visit to this establishment ever how can u have people work for that treats ur visitors like this. Is this how u run a hosipital u made it to where i now will take my health care treatment else where. Very rude & very distasteful (2 months ago)

I came here by ambulance, vomiting and passing out. They gave me a bag of fluids and discharged me. No tests were done. I wasn't feeling any better. I was still vomiting and passing out. Because I had been taken by ambulance, I had to call a taxi. The nurses were eager for my son and I to leave (yes, my four-year-old son had to come with me). Don't go to this hospital unless you have a death wish. (10 months ago)

We were visiting from down state and needed to come here for an injury that required stitches. There aren't any urgent care type clinics up here and when we arrived at the hospital the waiting room was packed with walk-ins and more patients were arriving by ambulance. Based on our ER experiences in metro Detroit hospitals we thought we would probably be waiting for service all night--Happily this was not the case and we were impressed with how quickly patients were treated and our short wait time. We were even more impressed with the cleanliness of the procedure room and the professional, friendly care we received. 3 cheers and many Thanks to Dr. Bob and the Nurses and Staff at St. Joseph's!
