I personally was not a patient at Swedish, however my mom had surgery there twice. Had a great experience each time and everyone we met that took care of us was extremely friendly. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone who is seeking expert opinions and is looking for a "comfortable" stay. (a month ago)

I went the ER twice over the weekend for severe stomach pains. They could not find anything so they set me up with an appointment the following Tuesday to see a doctor at their pavilion. Considering the excruciating pain, I was begging to see a doctor ASAP. They said they couldn't get me in until the following Tuesday. They also said they couldn't send me home with any medications because of not knowing what it is. Whatever, that's fine. The staff was rude. They were eating and playing around while I was sitting in a hospital bed in pain. Also, they never set me up with the other appointment. They just gave me a phony appt card because when I called the other office they didn't have me in the system. This hospital is so unorganized and not helpful. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this ER if it's an emergency and if you are in uncontrollable pain. (a month ago)

What can we say about this hospital? That they've been very helpful. From staff, doctors, everyone in the hospital have been really nice. Doctors have been really attentive to both my parents. My parents being older now, they've been needing medical attention. My dad is diabetic so he needs to get his eyes checked regularly. So for that, he goes to see Dr. Pearlman. Very great doctor I have to say, very helpful. And my mom, she had been complaining of her leg, since she has osteoarthritis. She was putting off having surgery so she had decided to go to see Dr. Sameer Shah. As pain management doctor, he has helped her a lot with her pain in several parts of her body. Many being very successful. The one part that wasn't much success was her leg. With her arthritis getting worst and worst the only option she had was surgery. At this point Dr. Shah referred her to Dr. Denis Williams. I took her to see Dr. Williams to see if he could help her. And when we went to see him, something told me he would be the one to help her and I was right. Dr. Williams explained step by step of what he was going to do and what to expect. We can't thank him enough for all he's done. He did surgery and it was a total success. Honestly, we thought surgery would take all day and he was done in a few hours. And with help from the nurses in the hospital, she was able to walk the following day and discharged. At home she had therapist going to the house and doing therapy. As of today, she's still recovering and taking it easy. My mom can now walk without pain and without assistance. No more walkers or canes! She's still doing therapy but little by little she's getting to almost 100%. She can now move more easily and she doesn't struggle like before. It really made me sad and helpless to see my mom in pain. But thank goodness for Dr. Williams and his staff. We highly recommend Dr. Williams to anyone that might be considering surgery, great orthopedic doctor, great human being, and pays attention to your needs. THANK YOU DR. DENIS WILLIAMS, FOREVER GRATEFUL!!! (a month ago)

One of the best hospital s in the city! I highly recommend! The staff is in credible! They also have a welcome center across the street. (a month ago)

The staff beyond rude. They are holding my daughter against her will and have for over 48 hours without seeing a doctor. The staff have threatened my daughter that if she didn't stop crying that they would never let her out. I have called and talked with a supervisor nurse Grace, who refused to give her last name, and I was treated rudely. I am attorney and will be filing suit. If you have had a similar experience with the hospital please contact me. I am attorney and plan to, enough people respond, file a class action suit against the hospital. (3 months ago)
