Location and Directions

I woke up early Tuesday morning with abdominal pain and ended up in Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital’s emergency room. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with this hospital. I ended up being admitted and having surgery to remove my gallbladder. Everyone, from the emergency room nurses and doctor to the technicians who gave me an ultrasound and MRI in the middle of the night to the surgical staff and surgeon who performed the operation - was professional, friendly, and supportive. The hospital is busy but I was communicated with the entire time and knew what to expect. Post surgery, I was given a very nice room, with a comfortable bed where I spent the night. My nurses were AMAZING. Kind, gentle, caring, and funny! This hospital is top notch. (2 months ago)

This hospital used to be great however since the fires operations there are run poorly. I waited for 5 hours to just get a bed and after that they ran test that were unnecessary. The test I needed was either never taken or it was, but never posted online.I feel what is happening patients are having a harder time seeing their primary doctors and using the ER to see one. I was sent to the ER from urgent care and I felt it was unnecessary. What a waste for insurance companies money (11k for nothing and I am still in pain) and it puts tremendous amount of pressure on the ER room for those who really need it. I hope they get it together over. (3 weeks ago)

I arrived for a Surgery here on the 8th January 2018 arrived at 1200 for a 1340hrs Surgery to check in at main desk. Was with my home carer and my Disability Service Dog. I dealt with a Afro American male Security Guard from Allied Universal Security. He was rude and abrupt and not polite. He said " What you want" " Sign in" I explained politely the reason for my visit today. Not good advertising for the hospital. It shocked my carer and me as a female Disabled Veteran. To see such unprofessionalism like this. No wonder people have a low opinion of Security Guards when companies like Allied Universal has Staff like this. At least my surgery went well under Dr Sawyer. Just have a look at the company Google and Indeed reviews that speaks volumes. Even the videos on YouTube. Sexual Harassment by this Company to female Allied Universal Security Supervisors at JFK Airport Oct 2017. This will tell you what a sleazy company this is (2 months ago)

Under-staffed every time I have come. Slow, unfriendly admissions people, my last lab wait for a type and cross was1.5 hours! Nurses spend more time talking about using the recording computers, way less time on patient care. I have been here at least 10 times in the last 3 years, and it has *always* been a bad experience. I hate this hospital. (5 months ago)
