I just wanted to say thank you to the ER team and every single person I met at Sunrise. I was in Vegas for a work trip all the way from Michigan. I came in Monday evening with horrible pains on my right side. The ER was packed, but they still got me in and started taking my vitals, etc. I passed out while walking to get my blood drawn and they caught me and got me into a wheelchair. I felt awful and was so scared. The staff was wonderful and treated me like family. This made all the difference in the world since I didn’t have any family there. Luckily my co-worker came along with me and they let her into everything with me. They were so sympathetIc and did everything they could to make me feel comfortable. Turns out I had an ectopic pregnancy and had a lot of internal bleeding. I had to have emergency surgery and the entire team was amazing. They made sure that they came by to introduce themselves before surgery and answer any questions I had. Thank you for saving my life and for taking such great care of me. The only criticism I have for this place is that it was a little dirty. Some of the rooms were really gross and looked extremely old and unsanitary. Other parts of the hospital were great. It was the people here that made this such a wonderful experience! (2 weeks ago)

Labor and Delivery Team is Fantastic. Nurses, Doctors are Excellent. Room not so much sink was always running had to place a chair in front of it. I would come back even after the sink scenario as the people are excellent hence 5 stars. (in the last week)

Took my son to the ER and we were triaged and taken to a room within ten minutes. Maybe another ten minutes went by before the doc showed up. Very friendly and got us set up for an x-ray right away. Same thing with x-ray, very quick and professional. In all, I think we were there for less than 45 minutes. Nurses, doc, and techs were all very fast and professional. (3 weeks ago)

I was brought to the hospital by ambulance. When they checked me out I was informed that they no longer have bus passes. If I would have known that I wouldn't have come to Sunrise hospital. I just moved into this area and Will never use this hospital again! (in the last week)

(the system will not allow '0' stars) Perhaps Sun Rise has helped many people but I am not one of them. I waited 26 hours (yes, 26 hours!!) in the Emergency room to see a Neurologist (waited 6 hours for an attending). I came in via an ambulance with a stroke! I now have permanent damage to my left hand/side and no one wants to understand why I am not happy. During the night (in the emergency room) when I needed something to eat (not fed for the 26 hours) they would not let me leave the emergency room - I had to practically beg a nurse to assist me!! The nursing staff was severely overworked and although I was ignored - not even a 'how do you do' - I almost feel sympathy for them. It was 'The hospital from hell'!! Wow, next time just drop me at a casino - at least I would have rec'd something to eat! (typed with my right hand - my left thanks you!) Don't go here for an emergency but I realize that you usually don't have a choice! (2 weeks ago)
