My husband was hospitalized at St Peter's three times in the past year, twice on cardiology, once for urology. Both times he was admitted through the ER. We can't say enough about how great the care was. With very few exceptions, all staff were kind, caring and helpful. I read some of the other reviews and am stunned that some others had negative experiences. Sometimes patients have to be patient and understanding too. We live more than an hour's drive awsy, but St Peter's is still our hospital of choice. Thank you. (in the last week)

Came here with son after being discharged from Samaritan day before where we waited 3 hours just to get an Iv for dehydration and to even be seen at Samaritan. An hour here was seen Iv hooked up tests scheduled dr and nurses very attentive. Son was admitted. Well worth the almost hour drive to come here. (in the last week)

after a few visits this place has redeemed itself, my first visit was a nightmare but I have found it was a fluke. the staff or at least the majority of them are very good and will answer any questions you have. if you have any problems all you have to do is ask and they will fix it. cannot thank them enough. worst health care I have ever had. The nurses believe they know more than the Dr. They do not follow Dr. orders. I was in fear of my safety my entire time there and I was they over 26 days 23 in ICU. The Doctors where fantastic. Stay away from this hospital I give it a F Please Don't go there. (a week ago)

Worst hospital ever. I had my baby at St. Peter's hospital. I had health insurance through my husband who works at St. Peter's Hospital. We have CDPHP. When my daughter was born, Erica Rivera from social work suggested we use Childs Health Plus (CHIP) for my daughters health insurance because it would be cheaper than adding her onto our health insurance through the hospital. About 4 months later I received a bill in the mail from St.Peters saying that I owe $2800 for the newborn care of my daughter. No one ever told me in the hospital that if you do not add your child onto your plan that her newborn care would not be covered. Also no one told us that CHIP does not cover newborn care. This was a LOOP HOLE between CDPHP, and St. Peter's hospital. now I have no option but to pay the bill which I cannot afford. Which should have been covered by my insurance. No one told me, and I received false information. When I talked with the MANAGER of HR. She simply stated, there is nothing I can do for you, and when I told her that she should be informing future mothers who want a different health insurance for their child, to advise not to because the newborn care would not be covered, she stated: "that is not our responsibility " AKA We're lazy. I am beyond furious, and this will not be the end. St. Peter's is not what it used to be, I received misleading information from HR, they have no idea what there doing over there, and are rude. Isn't this what you went to college for? I will definitely warn people not to attend St.Peters. 0/5 stars (2 weeks ago)
