Brought into the ER for a non life threatening issue at 8:30am. Finally saw a doctor at 3:45 and told that I was being released. At 5:30 still no release paperwork. Can't even get my clothes or phone from them! Just pacing the halls now. So angry! (in the last week)

The hospital itself was nice. Long story short my husband went there in 2007 for an injury. Fast forward to today (April 2018) we just received a notice of wage garnishment. St Marys does not use a debt collecting agency they use an attorney so you are screwed when life happens. We were only 18 at the time and had no clue and now this. Just be aware that if you can’t afford your medical bills at time, you can’t settle, you have to pay everything even if it’s 10 years later! (a month ago)

Need surgery? Prepare to get calls week after week rescheduling the surgery. It keeps getting pushed back two weeks. When you explain the inconvenience and how people keep having to change the date to take time off of work to take care of me post surgery, they will get rude and snarky. I feel helpless. I really need surgery I’m in a lot of pain and all I get is they need to reschedule. Watch they’ll reschedule me a third time. This is the worst experience ever! I’ve gotten better treatment with Oakwood doctors (3 weeks ago)

My primary Doctor referred me to the ER department at St. Mary to get a scan of my abdomen due to a hernia. I found the entire staff that I encountered on my visit to be very friendly and professional. A special thanks to Dr. Daniel Keyes and Dr. Linda Cox for treating me as if they were my primary care Doctor's rather than the stereotypical ER type doctor. They were kind, very laid back, and communicated with me as if I was their only patient for the day. I will not hesitate to return to St. Mary Hospital when their services are needed again. They also kept me for no reason but to bill my insurance. It’s messed up. I have good insurance, but now I have a $3,000 bill, mainly for the hospital room, that they made me stay in. I went in because I threw up blood. I was stable the next day. I was in the hospital for two days before I even met with the specialist. They kept me for almost five days total when I could have been out of there in one or two. I cannot recommend st. Mary’s. This place has always had a bad reputation. They kept me against my own will and charged me $3,000. They don’t care about patients, just making money. They’re also understaffed, even at the MD level. I had to wait over two days to get an endoscopy and colonoscopy, which in reality could have been done in 4 hours. (a month ago)
