Dr. Adam Lee needs his license provoked immediately. He completely did not proper check me for strep. He just prescribed medicine. He NEVER swabbed me. He was very rude and disrespectful knowing my severe condition. He really needs his license removed. You can’t care for patients with a horrible attitude even if you are racist. I go to this hospital all the time. I have never been mistreated like this. Also, he lied. As a doctor, you should be sworn to tell the truth but I guess it’s okay to lie as long as you have other people cover for you like the nurse Faithe and Dr. Shaffer. I know doctors are contracted but they need to be held accountable for stuff like this! (4 weeks ago)

Well, this was a 5 STAR experience for me at this hospital and I've been in a few..! Went to the emergency room on a Sunday afternoon thinking I had another kidney stone and found out I had an abcessed appendix and I was in a lot of pain.. From the admittance team, the emergency room nurse and doctor it was all good..! It was not long at all before I was in and they were looking me over.. It was luckily not crowded with only a handful of people waiting for care and of course they take people in order of the severity of their situation, which most people should understand but don't... After a test and a visit from the surgeon Dr. Shin, who drove over special and explained my situation with me, again, terrific... All the doctors I dealt with were excellent, patient and explanatory..... Everybody at this hospital treated me well and all the nurses on 3 East did a great job, especially Megan who took care of me like a baby... Every single person I dealt with here, including administration, case workers, nurses, nurses aides, I mean everybody was great.... Since I've been home they have already followed up with me twice, amazing....! So glad that I came to St. Mary's and I would highly recommend it to anybody in the area.... (Part of the Community Healthcare system in Munster, IN where I spent more than a few days and always received the same type of care)... (4 months ago)

Wait time is rediculous. They don't listen to you. Ive been here 3 hours and haven't made it to a room yet. last time they almost killed me. (in the last week)

The nursing staff is excellent. The one major problem is the doctors I had. Fist I had a doctor cut my achellies tendon and never reattach it I was used as a lab rat for his experiments. Second time at this hospital I went to the emergency room with 3rd degree burns to my foot and lower leg sat there for 3 hours before admitted. Once a finally saw dr Scott Andrews he marked my leg and told me it was going to be amputated. After surgery he never told my wife how I was and he never came to my room to see me. I have been to Porter and it's not any better. I will never go to an Indiana hospital ever again. (2 months ago)

This was the first and last time I ever go to this hospital! Very unorganized! Everyone was VERY nice, but no one seems to comunicate with each other. The ER doctor that was on duty was nice but arrogant. We left and still did not have clear anwers on what all was wrong. (3 months ago)
