I was transferred here from a stand alone ER which was fabulous but could no longer handle my situation. I thought I would not get the personal care i was getting previously due to it being an actual hospital with more patients to care for but I am giving them 5 stars because it is well deserved for the wonderful care I have received these past many days. Wonderful and excellent staff, nurses and docs!!!! (2 months ago)

On May 5th I was transported via ems with trauma injuries. While the doctor took excellent care of me my discharge papers stated test levels some low some high no explanation, it was clear that my body was fighting some type of infection. And the registrar has had my driver's license and insurance for over a week without notifying me. I'm supposed to already been seen but my doctor but they won't see me unless I have my driver's license and insurance for them to scan! Now my husband has to drive over an hour just to pick them up. My dad got admitted here recently he was there for I say 2 weeks because he needed surgery. My dad is the type of person who hates hospitals and will not go for any reason if it means necessary. We are out of towners and I got to say this is the best hospital we've ever been too! The doctor Dr.Steines was amazing ! Helped my dad with ease during his stay the nurses where understanding and caring ! The only problem was the kitchen staff and housekeeping super rude, felt like they didnt even want to be there when we asked for toilet paper they pretended to not even notice that we where talking to them. Other than that I suggest to go to this hospital! Great doctors and Great nurses ! (a week ago)

My husband had a pacemaker implanted by Dr.Mays in February. All the staff at the hospital were lovely. I wish I could remember all the names! From the nurses and doctors to the technicians and the precious chaplains, our experience there was matchless. I cannot say enough good about St. Joseph’s. (4 months ago)

Do NOT come to this hospital for “Care” - Quality “care” was cut out by greed. I’m from another city and state. When visiting this hospital E.R. with chest discomfort, you are required to wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. I’m told by locals and even from two of their own workers (a physician and a radiation department supervisor), that there were cuts in staff. It SHOWS. And YOU “pay” in prolonged pain, suffering or an inaccurate diagnosis. Management did not fair well in managing their financial resources, and the patient “pays” by waiting, not being serviced in a timely manner, and TIME is of the essence when it is YOUR health. Think twice before considering this hospital facility. It’s NOT worth the wait. (a month ago)
