My daughter had outpatient surgery at St Joseph’s. We had a great experience from beginning to end. The registration was professional, quick and easy. The entire visit, the staff were so attentive, helpful and reassuring. During the surgery, I had 3 updates while I was in the waiting room on how the surgery was progressing. After surgery, the anesthesia doctor and CRNA both came separately twice to talk to me. Post-op we had the same level of attention and care. Before we left, the nurse took the time to get a map and highlight the route from the parking garage to the valet area where I was to pick up my daughter to make sure I did not get confused with all of the one way streets downtown. Such a great experience! Thank you St. Joseph’s! (in the last week)

I was born here, as were my siblings and a cousin in 2001. I am going through them to help my cousin prepare for her C-section. They are being extremely helpful. (in the last week)

The level of efficiency in the ER is deplorable. They do triage and then explain they don’t have an emergency bed available. This is a hospital in the middle of downtown Houston. They need to expand the emergency department or at very least explain to patients that they may have to wait for endless periods of time. God forbid if your in pain! (a month ago)

That hospital is really nice , very clean and very organized. But it has a huge problem , I’ll tell you I had my 3 kids in this hospital and they all did the same! No video taping, no photos , and not even hold your baby after it’s been born!!!! The lady who was there told me that I would have plenty of time after with my kid?!!! Who does that?! Like if she wasn’t a mother or something! I can’t believe I was so disappointed of my Ob Gyn 😑 if it wasn’t because I was too young to choose another hospital I would just have it at home myself.! Like i wanted to tell her what’s wrong with you , you don’t have feelings or what? but I was in so much pain 🚫 but I also have a lot of patience I let God In Control of Everything 🙏🏻 so yea if your planning on having your baby at this hospital make sure you get all the information right or you will be disappointed like me.
