They took the best care of my toddler in their ER! She was working very hard to breathe & they got her right in. They did their best to make her feel comfortable, Us comfortable I should add. She ended up having to be transferred to downtown for critical care & everything went smoothly! The Doctor from their ER ended up rounding downtown & stopped in to check up on my little one! Such a surprise to see her! The compassion they showed us was so humbling! Top notch staff! (a month ago)

Terrible patient care from one nurse in particular. Everyone else was nice and efficient. M****a in E. R. was very unkind and slow to respond numerous times to requests from lab. She treated us like we were stupid even though we are medical people ourselves. Her name was altered but she knows who she is. Young nurses have a different attitude, if this is not your field of employment perhaps you should change. They used to call St. John West Shore Hospital...St John Death's Door and now I can see why. After 6 hours in the E. R. ,,, When day shift went home the care did too. When my time comes I hope I die suddenly so the squad doesn't take me here. (2 months ago)

Went to the ER with daughter. 1st shift Dr & Nurse great after 8 hrs of test and waiting finally the Dr decides to discharge (no real diagnosis). Over another hour passes and no discharge yet. I mention to the nurse that we were waiting over an hour to be discharged ans she said she hasn't gotten to it yet. Then I inform her the we have been here over 9 hours and she said "yeah but I'm going down the line". What the heck is that? (8 months ago)

Very long waiting times. Some rude and unprofessional staff didn’t make the wait any better. (2 weeks ago)

Financial consulting office said if you don’t have insurance you need to pay 1/2 up front for a test that costs $1700. Said we would do monthly payments she said can’t do it. Told her Obama Care was $1400 monthly she said it’s not her doing that.... we’re catholic and we wanted to do a catholic hospital. She said I would have to cancel the test by calling my doctor. I don’t recommend any institution that doesn’t put people’s probably best for all..... very disappointed.... (6 months ago)
