I had surgery yesterday during my 4 day stay. The entire visit was good until discharge. It just wasn’t organized the greatest. The worst part was I needed to get my valuables from security so I had to go to the main desk then back out the ER door. The transport guy says can you walk I don’t have time for this? Because he had to wait for me to get my discharge papers and in security?? I’m sorry that’s what your getting paid for ! I just had surgery 24 hours prior !!!! At this point I was irritated and got up! The front desk lady even was shocked at what she had just witnessed. My care while I was there was great but the discharge... made a 5 star experience a 3 star experience. (3 weeks ago)

I have been reading the poor reviews and the complaints of those who wrote them. As I read the complaints I started to wonder if any of them had called their primary care physician and that was how they were directed to the emergency room? Most of the complaints did not sound like bonafide life threatening medical emergencies, which is why most emergency rooms are backlogged with patients. If this and every emergency room was only charged with treating actual medical emergencies and urgent problems were sent to the urgent care or went to their PCP, the waiting time for the ED would greatly decrease. My interaction with the ER staff has been one where they are always trying to do their best to handle medical care on a safe and timely basis. It is easier to judge them when you have walked a mile in their shoes. What do you think it would be like to take care of about 10 unhappy people just like you all at the same time? Just is hard to smile and be pleasant when everyone is snapping at you all the time. They know you don’t feel good...Hospital’s treat sick folks. Try to put the shoe on the other foot for just a minute. If we all did that...we could be so much kinder to each other. (4 weeks ago)

We went to the emergency on a sunday noon, the staff were respectful and was clean and well cared for. Nurses were nice and made us feel so much better. A big 5 star for the attitude. (2 weeks ago)

This is my first time here and will be my last I waited in the waiting room for two hours then was called back to do vitals and sent back out in the waiting room to wait another hour before going in a room. I got her a little after 9pm it is 12:30am and I'm still here all they did was draw blood cause I fell down my basement stairs and hurt my back. This hospital is horrible. The service of care could be better. (a month ago)

Went with my daughter for pink eye was seen quickly, got out quickly, the nurses were nice. Gave this hospital one star because of poor ass customer service over the phone. When calling the number on my daughter prescription whoever picked up today 2/21/16 around 4:20 pm needs to be fired! (in the last week)
