Once I got past the receptionist in the ER, it was a great experience. She was quite rude. The doctors and nurses in the ER were wonderful. The whole staff on the 5th floor were excellent, after having emergency surgery for a ruptured appendix. My family was also treated well. (a month ago)

I would give this hospital zero stars if I could. My entire experience from delivery to billing was a complete nightmare. I developed an infection in my placenta after spontaneous abruption. The rags they had to absorb the fluid were not changed once through the night. I was soaking wet all night. My nurse ignored me when I told her my epidural was down so low that I could feel everything, then during my delivering the nurse had me stop pushing and hold my crowning child in for at least 15 minutes to wait for the doctor to arrive. Education following deliver was poor at best. Now the hospital has been billing me for the last year for services that are supposed to be covered by my insurance (routine baby care) even though insurance has said everytime I call that these services are covered. They also have no record showing that I paid the hospital before I even left. This is the nightmare that never ends. I would never deliver there again. (2 weeks ago)

This hospital has gone down hill!! I am a type 1 diabetic and have RA, I went into the ER with sever stomach pain and vomiting. They took my vitals and blood sample ( by a intern) and gave me a dose of nausea med, I was there for 4 hrs still waiting in waiting room! There were people with babies that were there just as long and people were walking out left and right!! At almost 4 1/2 hr wait I asked how much longer they said at least another 3 hrs!! That wld have been 7 1/2 hrs just in waiting room!! I decided to leave along with several other people walking out! I then receive a bill from them, they charged my ins co $575, and my pay was $147!! This was insane!! I called them and yelled and screamed and they kept telling me that I had to pay for my services I received, I yelled again and said what service I nvr seen a dr!! So the $575 bill was for a intern and vitals and a nausea med!!!! Wth... I will nvr go back there! (in the last week)

I visited this facility in December during all the flu epidemic. I tried to go to St Anthony's (primary dr) and it had about 50 people in the lobby. My sister took me to St Clare and I had the BEST EXPERIENCE ever. They did something that I have never seen at any other hospital. They called me in, took vitals sent me back to waiting room, called me in did chest x-ray sent me back to waiting room, called me in and put in IV and sent me back to waiting room. When they had room available they called me back in. By the time I got to room (which was maybe hour total) they had my x-rays back and were ready to treat me (fluids). The doctor was amazingly nice and courteous and so were the nurses. I was truly impressed and would go back there in a heart beat. I have read some of the other reviews and some were not so good. But I can tell you I left there asking myself why I was using St Anthony's...... (5 months ago)

Just over 4 hours for antibiotics, I recommend a different ER. Lots of people hanging out, texting and talking about the weekend. I never got to see a doctor! (a week ago)
