I went to this hospital last night. The nurses were nice and dutiful. But the care on the part of the doctor was lacking. They ran no tests and was eager to discharge me as soon as possible. I jate going to doctors, but once I get there, I expect the doctor to put forth some effort. The nursing staff on night shift gets 5 stars from me. Thank you! (3 months ago)

The ER tested me for what they wanted and refused to look in my ears when I complained of head fullness. It was my second time there this week. They were completely nasty towards me and the only thing they did besides their tests, was sedate me. They had security walk me out to the waiting room after I awoke confused to be told to leave and came back looking for my phone (it was in my pocket). So much for service. The Doctor was horrible and caused me great pain with the catheter and did not seem to care. I had a catheter the previous couple days they had trouble inserting in the other arm, and still it was less painful than this one. In fact, he told me it was supposed to be painful. When I was unhappy with my misdiagnosis, he smiled and shrugged his shoulders. Dr Katsaros I think. I always rooted for St.marys, but with me gone to their ER twice in the past week from confusion, falling, spinning, shaking intensively after episodes and a scary heart rate they recorded every time, just to be treated like a nuisance and labeled with a bias diagnosis (Not even a real diagnosis) and no follow ups but the one I already had. Don't go here. And especially don't go to the ER department. They will try to get you out fast as possible (or knock you out till they can) and keep your wallet too. And then you'll not only be financially worse off, but physically too. (3 months ago)

I had a c section here in June. They were so short staffed it was ridiculous. The nurses were trying to do the birth certificate and ss info because the one person who knew how was off i guess. We didn’t get pictures taken of our newborn bc that person was off too. The hospital was a little creepy bc it was like a ghost town! No body was there! My nurse had the personality of a serial killer. Void of emotion. Since the switch I have had trouble with Billing also. I’m very unhappy with Ssm pediatrics too. I was reciently charged $111 for the doctor to swab a piece of earwax out of my daughters ear! I’m thinking I will be moving our family over to capital region. (2 months ago)

This is a wonderful hospital. The nurses in the ER were kind, compassionate and professional. Excellent care from the time we got there to the time we left. (7 months ago)
