I had to go to the ER late at night, the nurse and doctor were some of the rudest people I have ever met and made the experience very unpleasant. I did not want to be there in the first place and they did not help me feel better about being there. They also hardly even tried to figured out what was going on and instead gave me a pain killer to get me on my way. On the other hand, the techs working that night were very nice and made sure all my needs were taken care. I am grateful for their hard work, generosity, and making me feel comfortable! Had 2 babies here and had great experiences with doctors and nurses. Dr. Golightly is a great family physician. (in the last week)

To this day, I have never gotten over what one of your CNA’s did to me, or how she treated me. I have NF, which causes tumors to appear all over me, along the CNS internally and externally . I had quite a few tumors on me. She started yelling at me, asking me what I had, as she pushed and poked at me hard. She was suppose to be helping me change into a gown. It hurt, as well as emotionally hurt. When I through tears was trying to tell her what I had, she yelled at me again, stating she was sick of me, and people like me, (she used profanity) bringing things like this into the hospital. I am not contagious, it’s a genetic condition, plus 50% spontaneous mutation. It happened 10 years ago, and to this day it still hurts, her actions and behavior started me on a downward spiral of shame and depression over it. I believe she was briefly talked to, bc another patient heard her, and reported her. I will never look at you in a positive way, as I once did. You should have stood up for patients, demanding staff to be kind, giving them compassion and respect. So sad you didn’t, there are a few good doctors and staff there that are so kind, but if I had to stay overnight, I would have to ask to be transferred to Kansas City or St Joe. All because of the treatment and hurt, by one of your staff members. I schedule any surgery I need, in St Joe or Kansas City now . You know it was bad, bc 10 years later, it still hurts until this day and I tear up. I’ll never forget it, it’s made me even more self conscious. Thankfully you do have some really nice doctors and staff. (3 weeks ago)

This hospital has inconsistent and unfair billing procedures. They did not inform us up front of what costs would be. Billing department staff were unfriendly when I inquired with them. We will not be going back there. (in the last week)
