I had surgery 6/18/18 At Zeeland Community Hospital. My bariatric surgeon made me feel comfortable and safe. The team that did my surgery also made me feel safe and comfortable. After I woke up and I was on the second floor the team that took care of me after surgery listen to my needs and were great nurses and nurse assistances. If I ever need another procedure done I would definitely consider Spectrum Health Zeeland . (2 weeks ago)

Wife Had a baby here at from beginning to end had nothing but a positive experience. We had our first child at va hospital so needless to say this place was leaps and bounds better. Food is really bad in the cafeteria that's really all I can say negatively about the place. (in the last week)

I wanted to give a review after coming home from having kidney stone surgery. I went to the emergency room because I was having so much pain. They did a great job of getting me comfortable and finding out what was causing the pain. Then I stayed over for observation and the staff was very helpful. I ended up having surgery and again the staff did a great job of keeping me comfortable. I cannot say enough good about my visit to Zeeland Hospital- a big thanks to the ER staff, Amber, Brittany, Jessica, Kelli, Stacey and the surgical team with Dr. Pimental. (4 months ago)

Came in with a GI bleed, was discharged with a DVT (blood clot), having to deal with all the hassles involved with taking blood thinners, and also serious, spreading infections in my foot and my arm where IV’s infiltrated. I told the nurses several times that they were swelling up and starting to hurt, yet they didn’t actuakky take them out til HOURS later when they became so swollen and painful, I couldn’t take it anymore. Dr. Leupp is incredibly judgmental, talks down to patients, and has a God complex. I will say though, the emergency room staff was amazing. Especially dr Sara Hinkle, and nurse Lorraine. Every other nurse was great down there too though. It’s onky when you get up to the floor, that the attitudes,,compassion, and care of the staff changes drastically, and not for the better! I had an emergency surgery to get my appendix taken out. The nurses, on call surgeon and his staff could not have been nicer, not to mention my surgery went very well. They were so helpful and made me feel so welcome. (3 months ago)
