Brought elderly family member into emergency for choking related issue. Staff was extremely courteous, informative, professional. Admitted overnight, thankfully minor and discharged next morning. (2 weeks ago)

I don't know what everyone is talking about but my experiences dealing with Pennock Doctors, ER, Lab and x-ray have been above excellent. Never have had to wait in ER. Staff all over have been so friendly. Dr Brennen did a wonderful job. I am seeing a urologist that has been great. Most friendly hospital I have every dealt with. Even paying my bill I was offered a payment plan. Thank you Pennock for your extra effort in serving your patients. (10 months ago)

My father was admitted for back pain and after x'rays showed he had a lower L-3 vertibre fracture . They kept him overnight for the doctor to set up therapy . That night the bed was to painful to lay in so he was moved to a recliner which was broken and also uncomfortable and was left for 2 1/2 hours .there was a shift change and the new nurse said she would be back after she checked her schedule and never returnud till he fell trying to get up because he was trying to change positions so he could breath & get some relief from pain. He fell and the night shift had 2 small women on duty and couldn't get him off the floor & told him to roll over " l he said he couln't and he is 195lbs. 91 years old he said if i do i"ll tear the skin off my arm it is stuck to the floor and the said if you can't help yourself we can't help you because we are short staffed ,over worked, over budget and all the other nurses are at the other end of the hospital . His skin was torn off he was gate belted and food tray was pushed up against him so he couldn't move and it was hard to breath and he passes out, they left him there the rest of the night. We asked for an incident report and were told they weren't authorized to give it to patients. We contacted an attorney, legal help for the aged, medicare, all fell on deaf ears because he had no loss of life or limbs, and he's already legally blind and is now being treated by the V.A. AS HE IS ONE OF THE LAST OF THE WWII VETERANS. This is why.so many elderly die and they contribuibute to natural causes he has been tramatized by this whole ordeal. Do not go to Pennock-Spectrum Hospital if you can help it (2 months ago)

My daughter had a E.R. Visit today she had gotten 3 stitches in her forehead worst visit for my little princess now I can't even get near her wound to clean it because the stupid so called doctors traumatized the Hell out of my daughter to the point she had got so worked up she had almost passed out I'm not impressed with Hastings spectrum health. Another prior incedint with my wife and my new born coming one month earlier in 2017 because they had giving my wife some sort of medication which put my wife into early labor horrible care took forever maybe 1 the vital lady/nurse when you first go into the E.R. Is super respectful but there nurse practitioners suck my family or friends will do anything to avoid torture. (6 months ago)

I have always been well taken care of here. The nurses tended to me very well. I always freaked them out whenever they needed to insert a needle into a vein in my arms or hands. I'm basically the human pin cushion cause my veins are ninjas, haha. The doctors have always diagnosed and helped me combat any illness I needed to see them about. The facility is very neat and clean and has a relaxed atmosphere. There was one time I had to make a second visit because the staff missed an infection after an x-ray... And that was pretty costly to me... But apparently it's cause tonsillitis can hide at the base of your tongue in your throat since the tissue cells there are similar to tonsil cells. But hey, they got me the right meds anyway. (7 months ago)
