worst hospital. apparently they have doctors there that are not part of staff and are not contracted with them to read x-rays. You will be billed separately by the hospital and these independent doctors. They do not communicate with each other and i received a bill on my credit report because of this. the hospital is getting paid by my insurance but these doctors are not messing up my credit report and the hospital is of no help to get this resolved. apparently these doctors can mess up and the hospital cant be blamed because its not their doctors. just stay away if possible. this is an issue i shouldn't have to get involved with. Was asked to "hold the baby in , I'll try to look for a dr!" By a nurse. During labor! My baby's head was already crowned. Only 1 nurse attended me. It GETS worse... They claimed my daughter wasn't breathing.. Turns out they didn't clean the fluid out her nasal. Almost killed my baby! Avoid at all costs (2 months ago)

They did not update my information or charge my insurance now I'm stuck paying out of pocket because the claim wasn't done within 3 months. . I call and nobody can help me, imagine if I went in for something more urgent and expensive.. Never again , How is it I go to a optometrist or a dentist and have no problem with the insurance but I come here "a hospital " and I have a headache to deal with because people didn't do there job. The doctors and nurses are legit but the HR department, Billing or whoever types in the information and looks for medical insurance via social security seem to be from some low budget tech school that don't know anything .. Nurses and doctors are legit and courteous only reason I'm giving 1 star is because the only information they got right were my social and name, So they can bill me of course . Just save yourself a headache and go somewhere else (2 weeks ago)

WOW! Now I am very scared that my husband has been taken to Southwest General Hospital. I am really thinking about having him transferred to another hospital. These are truly horror stories of the treatment people are receiving. I feel and state that if the staff can no longer care for patients as if they were their own family member they love dearly; they should not be in this line of work anymore. I fear that my husband is going to be mistreated now since he has been in the hospital for almost 60 days and he is experiencing "Hospital delirium." I am curious to know if any of these complaints or issues are truly addressed? Should the medicare and medicaid regulating boards be made aware so they can intervene or not until someone dies at there hands. But I am my husbands advocate and he will not be ignored, mistreated or God forbid hurt at the hands of the staff. My husband will not only be a paycheck but he is a patient and I will demand the best care. (2 months ago)

This place gets a bad rep. I'm always treated fair, I have a great psych doctor who I've been seeing for over 20 years. I love it here!!!! (a month ago)
