The emergency room at this hospital needs to get more training in how to detect serious issues with children. My daughter almost died if I hadn't taken her to Ann and Robert Laurie children hospital in Chicago. (3 weeks ago)

If I could, I'd give a ZERO star rating. My dad went to the ER with chest pressure, shortness of breath and all the signs of a heart attack coming on. He had to wait in the waiting room for 1.5 hours before being seen. From there he was admitted for additionally testing and we dealt with nothing but issues. Difficult and incorrect communication by several nurses, disgusting waiting rooms, no consideration for my dads needs in the ICU and the doctors did not at all Express the true severity of my dads situation. They sent him home and recommended he come back in a couple of weeks for open heart surgery. Right after being released we took him to a second opinion at St. Joes and the doctor set my dad up with a life vest and really took the time to go over all of my dads questions. My parents decided to stick with the doctor at St. Joe's and called Sherman yesterday to ask for his test images on a disc to be picked up today. They said they would absolutely have it ready for today. Low and behold, they go up to pick them up today, and they weren't ready! The lack of professionalism, lack of concern for their patients and overall inexperience just makes this hospital one the worst I have ever been to. Very very disappointed. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Especially if they are going to the cardiac unit. (a week ago)

Best hospital near me. Had an emergency and the doctors acted quickly to get me comfortable. Didn't have the same experience at another local hospital. Had family come here after an emergency, the staff, nurses, and doctors were always top-notch. Nice walking track, decent food options. (5 months ago)

0 stars if I could. My mother is diabetic and was hospitalized for a kidney infection that nearly spread to the blood. during her 1 week stay she looked close to death one day and I asked any of the nurses if they had given her her insulin, NOT ONE NURSE could provide me with her chart or that information. MY MOTHER HAD 2 MEALS WITH NO INSULIN! They completely forgot and neglected her medication. RIDICULOUS ! BEWARE. (2 months ago)

Horrible ! Was treated like a junkie just looking for a fix! The triage nurse patty was extremely rude! I was told that if the pain med didn't work to ring the bell I rang the bell and she never came back and by the time they did they discharged me. I dont go to hospitals for this reason! I have a Dr. ! If you don't want to help people GET OUT OF WORKING WITH THE PUBLIC! you make me sick and this was one of the worst experience I have ever had at a hospital! (a month ago)
