I had bilateral knee replacement surgery, and the PT staff was amazing! They treated me wonderful and was genuinely caring. Also, it helped that they had a great sense of humor! Thanks gals! (a month ago)

My daughter recently delivered a baby at Sharon Regional. What a pleasant surprise and an overall wonderful experience. Décor of the unit is homey and welcoming. It does not have that generic feel you expect in hospitals. Staff was efficient and professional but with a genuine personal touch. Highly recommend. (4 months ago)

Just like everything else in Sharon, this place is crumbling and filthy. Some of the staff, great... others... ehhhhhh. There were dead ants on my floor, stains on the walls, dirt and dust every where, nothing worked, and they left a wadded up gown from the patient that stayed in room before on the floor for me to stare at for 2 days. Awful. Oh, and I said a bad word out of frustration which was a no no cause the nurse threatened me with security. Guess you just have to shut up and deal with horrible care? (3 months ago)

Incompetent care. Insufficient infection control procedures. No one washes hands before/after bedside care (maybe they found a better way?). Old battleax nurse chastising my mother is known to be nasty by other employees, but never was addressed...so my mom was her target all evening one night. A May hip replacement should not have needed an additional surgery and debridement with severe sepsis in September because the incision seeped all da*mned summer without intervention. Taken off an antibiotic a week before surgery d/t rash, but not given a different antibiotic to replace. Inpatient Skilled Nursing aesthetically looked like One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest from the 1970s; even the bulletin board postings on the unit literally had 1990s dates on them! Age 67 is a little too you to expire over hip replacement issues, isn’t it Steward Sharon Regional Mediacl Center? (a month ago)

Definitely not as good as they used to be. At one time this was the best hospital in the area, but since becoming a for profit hospital, the care has gone downhill fast. (3 months ago)
