Well I've been at other hospitals in the area and really there's no comparison to Scripps Hospital Encinitas I owe my life to Scripps I am a heart patient who was only given two years to live and I've exceeded that because of their excellent care so that's why I took my best friend out of Tri-City and put her in Scripps and she's she's doing just fine Scripps off the I-5 freeway has Rite Aid Vons various places you can go eat pizza places Banks easy access to handicap wheelchair the hours are 8 to 8:30 the carrot excellent (2 months ago)

Staff members always playing in their cellphones at the nurses station & in the hallways, lacking in patient care department big time!!!. Majority of the staff (RN's) act very stuck up, there's no need for that in the hospital setting!!!!!! Not pleased at all with the quality of care my friend is receiving here in the hospital. Have to check on my friend daily just to make sure his ADLS are being taking care. (2 months ago)

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at this hospital. I was there for three days for kidney stone surgery and the nurses could not have been kinder or more helpful in my recovery. I have so much admiration for the job they did. I drove two hours from my home to have this surgery due to schedule conflicts near me and I really feel I got the best care possible at this hospital. Thank you so much to Jennier, Marilin, Amanda and Taylor. You are all amazing!! The doctors were great to, but obviously its the nurses that had the burden to care for me for the three days. If I ever need to go back I would not hesitate at all. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. (8 months ago)

You're in good hands! Dr. Valderrama had extra insight that my elderly father's ER visit might not be his last and actually followed up 5 days later by calling my father to ensure that he was getting specialist care for his condition. Thank you so much! (5 months ago)

I had to go to the ER room starting approximately January 8th to January other words...I had to use their ER room a total of 5 separate times during this time frame for various critical issues. This place ROCKS. They treat you like a human being. The nurses and nursing assistants are super nice. The doctors, in general, are great too. I always feel safe coming here. On top of it, they give you warm blankets, tuna or chicken sandwiches and the other day I was even given Tazo Chamomile tea (!!) as an option for assisting me with sleep versus being given medicine. They are an excellent role model of how hospitals throughout this country should be like. Keep up the fantastic job all you nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, security guards and janitors. If I could, I'd give you a "gazillion stars" rating! Sincerely, Mina (3 months ago)
