Place is a mental go in you have emergency but have to wait in a waiting room?? Really...I have an emergency and I'm supposed to die in waiting room....what a joke...pass this dump up if you want to live...go 20 miles north to Seymour hospital...its really worth it...scottsburg hospital is like that old crazy hospital on Halloween 2.... (4 weeks ago)

I would have gave this hospital a five starts but now I see they do not care about their patients or employees at all here I am 32 weeks pregnant picked this hospital and doctors to deliver my baby because they was the best the last time even having a baby born with Down syndrome they handle everything great and I showed up unexpectedly last time not even going to them. But I get a call last night they are closing their OB department on three weeks with this short notice I’m worried where I will deliver my baby and now pissed they didn’t think of the woman that only have a few weeks left if they was going to close it should have been months notice!! Horriblely ran!! And the er is horrible!! Plan to wait 4-5 hours (2 months ago)

This place is absoulutely horrible! The staff here are nice but very terrible at doing their jobs, not coming back here anytime soon.... I recommend Shneck in Seymour or UofL in Louisville. (3 months ago)

Back in 2010, I went to this place with severe abdominal pain at 2 AM, where there was nobody in the waiting room, and I still waited more than 2 hours to be seen. Once I was in the room, the "doctor" came in and spoke with me for 5 minutes before telling me that I was constipated and sent me on my way. I spent the next three days in immense pain. I went back and told them it was more than constipation. I was seen again by another Doctor, where he touched my abdomen, and assumed that I was dealing with appendicitis. I was given pain medication and sent for imaging, where he discovered he was right and that I needed emergency surgery, which I found out from my anesthesiologist, not my doctor. After surgery, I was told my appendix had burst and was gangrenous. I said that I would be speaking with a lawyer due to being sent away and almost dying and within 10 minutes the legal department was in there, offering to eat the cost of both visits if I didn't sue, and asked me to sign a form while I was still under the influence of pain medication, which I did sign, not fully understanding what was going on. I almost died because of this place, DO NOT GO HERE, NO MATTER THE ISSUE! (5 months ago)

I give Dr. Hicks and the ER staff 2 thumbs up! I got excellent efficient care. I couldn’t have asked for more. (6 months ago)
