Location and Directions

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Sampson Regional Medical Center recently with the birth of our first child. Every nurse, physician, and resident that cared for us during our stay were kind, courteous, knowledgeable, and treated us as if we were their only patient. During our three day stay, we were also very pleased with the facilities, and all of the staff members we encountered. No hospital is perfect, and nurses and doctors work long, hard hours, while still providing a high level of care. I am very glad to have this hospital in Clinton and to have been able to stay close to home for the delivery of our child. (4 months ago)

I was seen in the er yesterday and was not given a note for work. I called bk to the er and was told they don't give notes for work or school. I'm not from here and have NEVER heard that the Dr won't give a note for your employer. This is the biggest hog wash that I have ever heard of in my life. (in the last week)

This is the worst place ever. I bring my son in who has been severely sick for four days and can barely walk. They checks his blood presure, with no other tests and the Dr. walks in and say you got a virus and go home and drink fluids. Since when can you look at someone and give a diagnose? These people just don't care!!!! (2 months ago)

I was hospitalized for 5 days with a staph infection in which I almost lost my hand and died and and I was treated horribly from the moment I walked in the door until the time of discharge. It made an already frightening and terrible experience even worse as unimaginable as that seems. The doctors were even more unprofessional than any of the staff, in fact the CNA staff was far more professional and caring than the Drs themselves. I was treated far less than a human being and I wouldn't recommend this hospital or staff to anyone I care anything about. I have things on my medical record now that are far from true and were just inferences from the apparently poorly trained and informed doctors. If there's any recourse I can take from this hospital stay I am sure to take it! The sad thing is that I have follow up appointments scheduled with these ppl and I hope I can travel to another city where I am sure to get better care (3 months ago)

Unfortunately, my mom was in the ICU for approximately 3 days. During her stay, I could not have been more pleased with the love, care, and professionalism of the doctors and nurses. The made an extremely difficult time easier by not only providing excellent care for my mom but for all of her family as well. (8 months ago)
