This is the best hospital in the area. The nurses are all great, very attentive and friendly. The doctors are great as well. I like that it's faith based, but have issues with the fact that, because it's called healthcare, doctors can't prescribe certain medications like birth control. Seeing as how I'm not a woman, that obviously doesn't affect me, but it does make you wonder what they'd do if a certain medication or procedure would be needed to save your life, but they couldn't prescribe the medicine perform the surgery. 5 stars anyway as i've never had a bad experience here and will always go back here any time I need medical treatment. (in the last week)

I recently visited the hospital and waited 5+ hours with a severely fractured nose. It took 3 hours to start stitching because they were waiting on the results of my drug screen!(which I passed). Why this hospital cannot stitch a nose and give medical treatment based on drug test results and would leave someone in pain and suffering is completely obsurd and I would have to recommend memorial hospital. Follow up treatment was even worse! -5 stars terrible hospital (2 weeks ago)

I Had a VERY painful abscess removed from my abdomen last night...the front desk people were great, very kind and friendly. I appreciated that. When I was FINALLY given a room, The actual nurses and ER doctor were nothing short of ridiculously rude about my pain tolerance!!! I almost asked them what the hell their problem was! I don't know what was so terrible to them about me being in very REAL pain but it seemed to bother them all quite a bit. Everyone's pain tolerance varys so I thought they'd be understanding that I didn't have a very good tolerance in this tender area at all.I cried pretty hard when I was given their unexplained "pain shot" in my thigh, the poke was no biggie but the medicine burned my thigh so badly I was ready to be put to sleep!! I screamed and cried rubbing the area asking for help They had no sympathy, no care, one nurse even said its normal not to "over react" the doctor even huffed and puffed and walked out of the room but It truly caused far more pain than I was already in! Excruciating!! I Still feel pain in shot site now (day after procedure). Getting the area "numbed" was tolerable but I cried pretty hard getting the abscess removed because it was VERY painful and tender.. Not very "numb" at all. The Dr. Was rough and rushed around like I was just in the way of his night or something smh .. They were all very irritated with me and quite rude. I was blown away at the lack of kindness. I went through all of that just to find out from a kinder, more caring doctor at Memorial hospital that The irritated, rushed Doctor here over packed my wound almost ridiculously!! His lack of care and time caused me excruciating pain and abnormal bleeding the next day from him over packing the incision.. Needless to say.. Im going to Memorial from now on. That was just plain MEAN. Why get in the health care business if you have no care or sympathy for your patients at all anyways?? πŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘Ž (a month ago)

Wrong for my mom not to be in the delivery room with my sister when u can have three people in their i don't understand it.What is going on with that. God will take care of it. (a month ago)

Please please please don't send a loved one here. They do not offer compassionate care to their patients, alot of the nurses are impatient, rude doctors, etc. They did not catch an infection of our family member so luckily we decided to transfer to IU health where they were able to treat the infection and said if we hadn't come there, he probably would have died. Don't take your family member to this hospital (2 months ago)
