Reviews

Why does a hospital continue to operate with such poor quality and inhumane treatment? Filing complaints and writing reviews obviously does not alert St. Joseph Hospital that there should be some changes. We as patients should never have to experience the shame of feeling like we cannot go to a place on which should offer comfort and help, regardless of the individuals and without judgment. If anyone reads the history on how St. Joe's started it would shock you in how they operate now. Such a disgrace. BRIGHTON AND HOWELL. (2 weeks ago)

Doctors don't help neither do the nurses. Never listen to what's actually wrong, always just guessing whats wrong with people then sending them home for them just to go to a different hospital later on. ( in the emergency room ) today I drove my fiance to the hospital, at first everyone was concerned because she was having stroke like symptoms.. Very weak, shakey, slurring words and numbness and when we saw the doctor, he was uniterested, told her.. Her symptoms didn't match with anything specific so they would watch her for 1 hour.. We got checked on once and they made us leave and said it was a panic attack. Go to Lansing Or Ann Arbor please don't even go here for the flu (in the last week)

Surgery department staff and physicians are very friendly and genuinely caring. Surgery staff report enjoying working for this hospital. The cafe's food is good and the facility recently was modernize. Great surgery waiting area with TVs, work area, computer availability, coffee, proximal rest room and friendly staff. Status screen of surgery progress is helpful. (4 months ago)

Any time that our family has needed emergency services, St. Joes on Byron Rd in Howell MI has NEVER let us down. There is never a wait (5 min max in waiting room). The doctors, P.A.'s and nurses are always very pleasant and extremely competent. We did have reservations (based on other's comments and our own ignorance) before our first visit, as UM Ann Arbor had always been our first choice, but St. Joe's Howell has always been a first class experience and we are so very grateful! I could go on all day about how much I hate this place. I have like 7 different terrible experiences but to save myself a 7 hour ordeal and a miniature book. I'm just going to say, don't go here, this place is a JOKE. I use to live right across the street and made it a priority to drive an extra 20 mins to go to the one in Brighton. (a month ago)
