Clarifying: Staff nice at window as laboratory ladies awesome. But ER over whelmed me. Older lady just too something? I left did not like ER. Would not go back to this ER caused too much anxiety too stressful Understand you go to ER because you are sick not to be harassed. (a week ago)

I will say that the service we received at the hospital was wonderful and my husband was seen quickly to stitch his finger from cutting it during hunting season. The doctor called in antibiotics and took extra precautionary measures just to make sure everything was on the up and up. The reason I'm rating them so low is because I've been trying to get a hold of billing for MONTHS now to get a receipt or copy of the services billed for my TexFlex account. My husband and I have left multiple messages at the billing line (which is hard to understand because the woman they have for the automated directions is slightly garbled on both my cell phone and land line). They said they emailed my receipt to me but I never received it at either email address I gave them (work and personal) and they told my husband they couldn't send him a scan through email. Looks like we're going to have to drive from Lubbock to Lampasas just to get a copy of our bill that we've already paid. Needless to say if we're ever down at our farm and have another accident or anything we'll be going elsewhere. Update: After leaving this review we were contacted by someone in the billing department and they did end up mailing us a copy. (a month ago)

My sister went in ER for severe abdominal pain. They said it was a stomach ache gave her pain meds and sent her home. Took her directly to a different hospital where they performed emergency surgery because she had appendicitis and her appendix was about to burst. They didn't do anything about the misdiagnosis. Absolutely worst hospital and rude people. Every visit In the last 15 yrs was miss diagnosed and twice in the last 2 weeks. Just got done telling dr Apple that I was on a medication and he gave me a medicine that can cause serious side effects. Missed kidney dis function on my husband go somewhere else! (2 months ago)

The wait to see a doctor is ridiculous. I went in with a severe gall bladder attack and I was in so much pain, they didn't do anything for it. No pain meds or anything. They let me just lay in bed in pain. The doctor took forever to come see me and when he did he gave me fluids and had the nurse give me some disgusting drink that numbed my throat but did absolutely nothing for my gall bladder, if anything it made the pain way worse. I repeatedly told the nurse I was in pain and she did nothing. They tested my blood but didn't find anything out. After being there for 2 hours they sent me home. Still in pain but not so severe. The pain started going away on its own but certainly not because of any help they gave me. Next time I'll just save myself the trouble of waiting 2 to 4 hours at a hospital where they won't help me and I'll just stay home. If my Gall Bladder explodes then well...so be it. (6 months ago)
