I took my father into the emergency room today at around 4 pm. He fell and hit his head and back. He is an elderly dialysis patient with congestive heart failure and diabetes. After he was brought back to his room I went back there. I could hear him hollering for help while the nurse sat literally not even ten feet away from where he was laying. The nurses name is Hydie (the staff refused to give me her last name). Then she stood there and laughed and pointed at me with the doctor. They had my father laying flat on his back and he couldn't breathe. She ignored him until I went off on her and had the doctor come. Then she said she couldn't find his chest ray records even though I could see them clear as day on the computer screen. I had to point them out to her. Then she lied to a police officer and said I threatened her. Which was a blatant lie. I never cursed or threatened. She told this lie because I had already said I was filling a complaint. And now I can't even go back to see my dad. It's 7:15 and I'm still here in the parking lot. I don't know what this nurses deal is but she has no business being a nurse. This is elderly abuse and she needs to be fired immediately. I plan to take this to the furthest possible level of proper channels. Nobody should be treated like this. Especially considering how much we pay for medical care. (a month ago)

If I could give this place a no rating I would ever time I come their very rude and hateful (2 months ago)

In the last year, my parents and step parents have been patients at Rolling Plains and the care they received was fantastic! My step father described it as "top notch!" The nurses, therapist, doctors and surgeons are kind, and very knowledgeable. We are very proud and pleased with our hospital! (11 months ago)

They took good care of my father. Found out what was wrong and helped him. Was really good at telling us what was needed to help better him. They treated him like family, listening to him and feeding him good. I can not recommend a better place to take your loved one's. (a year ago)
