Not even one star should show in the case of my brother. My brother was in severe back pain and could not walk well for 5 weeks,he went to Somerset Robert Wood three times to the ER before he was properly diagnosed with blood clots. He died on the third visit. On his second visit a week or two prior to the third visit the hospital discharged a man who could not walk after an overnight stay. I only pray that the board discuss with doctors if a person can not walk do not discharge, find out why the person can not walk and is in pain. I think his life could have been saved if properly diagnosed on the first visit. (in the last week)

I just returned from visiting a sick friend at RWJ Somerset. The staff and volunteers were very helpful and my friend is getting excellent medical care. Thank you RWJ Somerset ! (a month ago)

Relative came here from dehydration only to discover he has cancer. Doctors kept disagreeing on treatment, weren't discussing between them on what to do. Even the nurses were confused. WE had to take charge and force the doctors to talk to each other. Thankfully we transferred our relative to another hospital for better treatment. This is the most disorganized hospital I have ever seen. (3 months ago)

Most incompetent hospital, if patients go in on an emergency basis. It is clear that they are unknowledgeable to make it worth going to the ER. So the patient should one feel completely confident leaving hospital, two the doctor should go over medical history including medications. If any of the medications taking caused interactions. They should make adjustments. Until patient receives care from the Primary Care. It does not take a rocket scientist to be competent. STANDARD OF CARE!!!! HELLO! Does this hospital even practice STANDARD OF CARE! (6 months ago)

We had our first child at the hospital. It was the closes hospital and came highly recommended. The nurses and overall service of this hospital was amazing. Their knowledge helped us get through a tough night. We took a few classes with nurse named Cecil who is I feel one of the most knowledgeable nurses. Cecil is such a caring and knowledgeable nurse that actually cares and it shows. I can see why she does the training. Her classes gave us so much confidence. My wife and I totally recommend this hospital for labor and delivery. (a year ago)
