These people are thieves in lab coats! My office visit lasted 5 minutes with no procedures or lab work. We simply talked. $240! Insurance dropped it to $179, but this bill is unacceptable. What's the point of having insurance if a preventative visit costs you more than what medical insurance is supposed to cover. Don't go to Providence. Learn to take care of yourself. (a month ago)

GET A QUOTE FOR SERVICE. I needed an object removed from my ear, literally took 5 minutes and received a bill for $503, was told it would be about $200. Go elsewhere. No complaints about the Doc...but purely out to gouge. (a month ago)

I called my family doctor to get some attention for breathing problems from a cold gone bad. They told me they were busy and could see me until the next day. I dropped into the providence urgent care at noon. It’s a beautiful, new facility and I got immediate attention. The most efficient checkin ever. Right off the bat they handed me a mask. A paperless checkin, no copay and after two minutes in the waiting room a nurse came in and got me. After a brief interview and getting my vitals they recognized my coughing and breathing discomfort and they set up a 5 minute inhalation therapy. The doctor came in immediately, checked my lungs while still doing the therapy. She said she would return after an extra. Another aid came in escorted me to exray. No wait, another pleasant technician in the exray and then I was escorted back to the exam room. 2 minutes later my doctor came in, reassuring me that I did not have pneumonia, yet. Discussed medications, what to look for, answered my questions and escorted me back to the lobby. I was handed my take home and drug info and I was back in my car in less than an hour. This is how how medical system should work. Gives me faith that we can fix the American healthcare system. (a month ago)

My mother went in for stomach pains. Was there over 24 hours before they said she needs surgery due to gallbladder stones. In that time she wasn’t given anything to eat, asked for water for hours until we finally took her water when no one would bring her any, even when they said they would. She was covered in bruises which she didn’t have before hand. She has a very high pain tolerance and doesn’t bruise easy! It took everything in me to not yell at someone when I found out my mother was drinking from the sink before family took her water. I will be avoiding going there or taking family there. I recently had a surgical procedure at Providence Hospital and I'm here to share my experience. I really can say the care, compassion, and love I received from all who took care of me was very comforting. EVERY NURSE AND DOCTOR were very caring and very thorough, it was especially comforting to feel the presence of my higher power so strong through the staff and throughout the hospital. EVERYONE was very kind, some very loving and I am thankful to have been able to experience such good treatment and good people. Thank you PROVIDENCE HOSPITAL, my experience with you was a blessed and comforting one! Denise Kaler 06/12/17 (11 months ago)
