I brought my mom who has CHF in to Holy Cross hoping for quality care and I surely didn’t find it here. After a week it so of being admitted for fluid in the lungs Pulminary Edema. My mom is old and had a stroke and is inable to communicate properly, they called me today and said OH by the way the doctor has discharged your mom and if you can’t pick her up we will send her home in a Taxi? Seriously? She’s 85 yrs old can’t walk or talk and you threaten her and tell her she has to leave in a Taxi?? Of course my mom freaked out and then had an anxiety attack and the nurse calls me back and ask “ME”what medication to give her?? I had to tell her to ask the doctor cause I’m not her doctor. Wow I’ve never been more pissed in my life. I will be making a complaint with the hospital board, you can bet on that. 😡🤬 (a week ago)

My 31 year old son came in with severe abdominal pain. The initial surgery removed 2ft of small intestine. The reconnection blew out 4 days later resulting in a second surgery with more wounds across his belly. He has been in the hospital for 10 days and feels dreadful. He hoped that surgery would cure his Crohn's problems but he is now reduced to being a sad living cadaver. The hospital has moved him to three different rooms despite the fact that he suffers considerable pain whenever he is moved. We are hoping for a positive outcome. (3 months ago)

This is a fun place where they treat you super amazing and like family! It’s a great place! The cafeteria food is good too just a little but expensive and they don’t accept EBT (3 months ago)

Patients get moved and its difficult to find the room sometimes. The nurses are nice and caring for you and the patients. When you walk in it doesnt really feel like a hospital more like a home for patients. (2 months ago)

This hospital is a little too dramatic. My ex husband was in a car accident and they called me at work that I had to go in right away and they could not give me any info on the extent of his injuries. As I am waiting in the waiting room for someone to escort me to him the freakin Chaplain comes to me and lets me know that my daughter cannot go back. He is a very nice man dont get me wrong but can you imagine what must have been going through my head if the hospitals chaplain is my escort?? My ex husband is fine. Literally just bumps and bruises.... A few days prior I was in the hospital for Atrial fibrillation so ya my heart was racing. Thanks guys! (3 months ago)
