Location and Directions

Had a partial knee replacement and had to spend a night. Everyone was amazing! From the doctors to the nurses! I woke up in recovery and they spoke softly and made sure to speak slowly with me. And when I made it up to my room, they bought my husband and two little ones in to see me as soon as they could. They even complimented my husband on keeping our kiddies quiet in respects to everyone else in the waiting room. They made sure I was comfortable and if I didn't feel comfortable, they did everything possible to make me feel that way. The nurses made sure my water was always full and if I was hungry, they offered me food from this little pantry area. And the food was pretty good! The physical therapist where so kind and helpful as well! It was an amazing stay and I'm so thankful to everyone! (2 months ago)

My mother had surgery here. The customer service for me waiting hours for the surgery to be done was above and beyond with updates every half hour. The nurses and staff were very nice and made sure my mother had everything she needed. I would recommend this place to everyone who needs a medical surgery done. (a month ago)

The inpatient experience was fine but having to come to the hospital very frequently for labs is not as fine due to the difficulty at the entry way! Being impaired and needing a wheelchair, the main entrance is the pits! It is small and there are usually a number of cars. There is only a very small area without a curb and there are both drop-offs and pick-ups happening. It would be good to have a separate door for either one so that the congestion of the cars and pedestrians as well as patients would not be so difficult. (3 months ago)

CHILDBIRTH: I have given birth at UChealth Aurora and most recently, the Poudre Valley location. In comparison, I would choose the latter. I had both children naturally with no complications (these were my third and forth pregnancies). ****BOTH LOCATIONS CHARGES FOR LABOR AND DELIVERY DRUGS THAT I DID NOT RECIEVE**** I was able to fight it and have it corrected. GET A DETAILED BILL AND REVIEW IT. Overall, I was happy with the staff at Poudre Valley. They have wonderful L&D nurses and knowledgeable Midwives. (2 months ago)

Was brought in for severe pelvic pain PID. They began treatment, but when my insurance came back denied they quickly bundled me up and sent me off to walk the hour back to my car at 9-10pm. I am a single very petite woman. Had to fight them to get me a cab and they assured me many times they would not pay for it even after my stating upon the request I would pay. Terrible terrible hospital. (2 months ago)
