This Hospital doesn't even deserve 1 star. I went and sat with my grandmother while she was there. The nurse forgot to give her the pain medication . She hadn't received it since that morning. They don't come check on you unless you call for them. Also, at the gift shop downstairs I bought a few snacks that came up to $6.84.. out of the kindness of my heart I gave the lady a $1.00 tip.... So that should've been $7.84 taken from my account. When I looked at my account it said I spent $14.84 there. I believe she altered the tip I gave her. (2 months ago)

It's unfortunate that you should have to check the reviews of a hospital before going there, however had I checked the reviews I would not have brought my boyfriend here. The only way we would come here again is if we're unconscious and have no say in the matter. For the most part the nurses are nice and do their best (hence the one star). The doctors have no regard for people's time and constantly outright lie about the time frame of getting things done. I'm convinced they operate this way to milk the insurance system. I could say a lot more but this is the gist of the experience we're having. Yes we're here at the hospital and have been waiting since 10:00am to have the files reviewed so we can get out of here. It's now 3pm if we're here until 5:00pm they can bill for 24 hours ... I will say no more. (a week ago)

Let me start by saying, O'NEIL made me give Plantation Hospital 5 STARS, My mom is 62 years old and she had to be rushed to the hospital last night around 11pm 5/8/2018 and she was in the worst pain you can imagine and O'NEIL took care of my mom as if she was his mom, I mean IV in minutes, he ordered all the right test to find out what was wrong and he was just awesome and I wish he were a robot so all of you with bad reviews can have the best experience at Plantation Hospital as my family and my mom had last night...... The doctor was in and out, but he was the bomb toooo... The nurse actually does all the work.....Nurses like O'NEIL definitely deserve a raise, because nurses that care are hard to find...... I had an excellent experience at Plantation from the very beginning through discharge. All staff from outpatient surgery, holding center, surgical team, and recovery were absolutely amazing friendly and kind. Everyone has great bedside manners. (a month ago)

On May 7th this year I was bought in the ER of the hospital of the recommendation of the cruise ship doctor on which we were travelling. I was subsequently admitted and spent 2 nights and 3 days in your care. My wife and I were overwhelmed by the circumstances and very upset at having to abandoned the cruise we had planned for so long. The care and attention we received from all your staff was nothing short of exemplary and I am writing to ask you to pass on our thanks to all the staff concerned. There are 3 people in particular that showed compassion, understanding and a large amount of common human decency. While I cant give their surnames, I can identify them by their Christian names and I will never forgot the kindness Owen ( ER department) Furline & Michael ( Ward nurses) who all contributed to ease the stress of an awful experience. I felt all your staff and these 3 in particular, were a credit to both your hospital and their profession. We are now back in New Zealand and recovering well thanks to the excellent treatment I received. Many thanks, Jonathan Horne (in the last week)
