I had to bring my son to the emergency room tonight. I have never met a more caring group of individuals at any other hospital. Even though the ER was packed, we were taken in quickly. Dr. Brown was so attentive and listened to us and really cared about our son. I felt like he had our best interests at heart. I highly recommend the entire staff at Physicians Regional. (in the last week)

Had an emergency and was told to go to this hospital. Staff was great! Polite, hardworking, and kind. The facilities were not so great. I’m disappointed to learn that the rich bigwigs that own this hospital not only pour limited funding back into their emergency room facilities but that the staff are so obviously underpaid. Shame on them. Everything that should be sterile in this environment is unclean. God bless the staff! Amazing people. So grateful for them. They make up for the failure of the administrators. Hope for the sake of this place they shape up and treat the staff better. Without them, this building would be a dirty over charged motel. (2 months ago)

HORRIBLE FACILITY AND DOTORS I was very very sick for a month and had to go three times in one month to this hospital. I was overlooked as if I was some drug addict. Actually they probably get treated better. I was having a breathing problem and this hospital never even tested my lungs. My family Dr found out a month later I had Pneumonia. Now, you would think a hospital would have tested for this. DR was sarcastic and nurse was no better. Better off to go to a veterinarian hospital . You would have gotten better treatment and diagnosis. Excessive charges for NOTHING. PATIENT BEWARE (a month ago)

This hospital abused my 92 year old grandfather. He lives in assisted living and has dementia. He was rushed to the hospital with a blood clot in his leg. The hospital is an absolute ghost town, which is weird because NHS in it's 3 location are always slammed. My grandfather was treated and was very confused and didn't understand what was going on. He was manhandled by staff and has bruises all over his arms from where they tried to insert the IV. After we made first contact with the staff he calmed down and was treated somewhat satisfactorily, however the staff quickly called us several times to tell us "he was annoying" or that he was, and I quote again "driving them nuts". They expected us to come in and babysit him I guess. This staff is also on a floor with MAYBE 2 other patients and nurses just standing around doing nothing. Today we were told he would be released. We waited 4 hours to be told "they didn't have any social workers to complete the discharge." well that's understandable it is Sunday. So we go home, only to receive a call that he is "talking too much, and annoying them again" so they're going to discharge him now. THESE NURSES ARE LITERALLY SENDING MY GRANDFATHER HOME BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO DO THEIR JOBS. This whole experience makes me sick to my stomach and I will be contacting as many people as I can to make sure there are repercussions for this behavior. DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONES HERE, if you are forced to for some reason make sure you record video or audio of everything that goes on. This place is a nightmare and they are empty all the time for that reason. STAY AWAY! (a month ago)

My experience with Physician's Regional Medical Center in Pine Ridge was very positive. I was seen quickly in the ER and the staff were friendly and efficient. A procedure was performed on my arm and follow up was effective and efficient. Obtaining my records was a little complicated in that we had to return to the hospital, but the trip was quick and efficient. I was satisfied with my treatment, the attitude of the staff, and the short wait in the ER. (4 months ago)
