Location and Directions

Had a very pleasant birthing experience for my first child. The staff were very courteous and knowledgeable, they really made my experience a positive one. The night staff I had were especially great, they gave me lots of attention and put my mind and body at ease while in labor. I know people have negative thoughts and such about Pekin Hospital, but their birthing floor is top notch. I will most definitely be back for any future children and share my pleasant experience with anyone and everyone. Thank you! (in the last week)

The service is great, I was waiting for my appointment, and there was an elderly gentleman falling asleep. For his comfort and safety, they provided him a reclining chair. They were very respectful and kind, and thanked him for his service in the military. (2 months ago)

Wish I could give zero stars. I went in for back issues so bad I could hardly walk. ER dr found that I had a UTI and said probably a pulled muscle. I asked if she could run tests to make sure bc it didn’t feel like just a pulled muscle. Her exact words to me were “we would do a CT scan but that’s a whole big thing so we’re not going to do that tonight.” .....ok. I almost laughed out loud! I’m breast feeding so I have to be careful about medicine I take so she prescribed me a muscle relaxer and told me it is not considered safe to take while breastfeeding so I have to pump and dump if I take it. It’s now 2 weeks later and I still have the same back issue. I’m in immense pain. I looked up the muscle relaxer she gave me to see how long I have to pump and dump for but it turns out it’s severely advised against taking it with sertraline (a depression med I’m on.) Good thing I looked it up!!! I’m so mad that I paid $250 for this ER visit for her to just feel my back for 30 seconds and send me home with meds I can’t even take. And I’m still in so much pain. I don’t know where to go now. (3 weeks ago)

Had a DKA and was in an empty waiting room for almost an hour. When I was finally sent to a room, they drew some blood and didn't come back for another hour. And from what I could hear outside of my room, the staff were just goofing off and standing around. (3 weeks ago)

They don't even try to diagnose you. Just try to dish out medications and say if you still have the problem in a week go see a different doctor. Waste of time and money!!! Would highly recommend going elsewhere!!!! (3 months ago)
